Great hotel! Clean, comfortable and some very pleasant amenities. Only complaint is comfort of the beds. Very small, on the hard side and the way the sheets are on them is odd and uncomfortable. Otherwise this is a fabulous place to stay alone or with the family. It has everything you want/need at a hotel and in your room.

Great for families because of the playground and pool. There is a microwave and fridge in the room and easy drive and access to Yosemite. The office and amenities are limited but staff is helpful. The diner next door is cute and average price. Decent food options and fine for each meal.

We had very clean, comfortable accomodations! The beds were great for getting a good night sleep….or was it walking around Yosemite all day that assured good sleep!!!???😉 Very noisy group of kid# above our room ( not the property’s fault and lots of noisy birds . An hour from Yosemite Valley. Good restaurant next door.

This is an excellent place to stay for access to Yosemite Nat'l Park, beautiful mountain scenery including hikes, waterfalls, scenic drives, etc. Very comfortable, clean, kept well maintained in every aspect. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to friends/family.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westgate Lodge the night before heading into Yosemite. There’s one restaurant onsite and it has limited hours post-pandemic. I suggest check their hours and plan ahead. There’s the little town Groveland that has food options not too far away. It was as clean as it gets. Maybe the office chair needs an upgrade as it was worn. The kids playground is a plus if you have children.

We are NEVER disappointed by this place: super clean, has everything you need to overnight on the way to Yosemite. Coffee machine, fridge, microwave, space for luggage, bathtub...we always stay there. tried a few other places closer to YNP but they just don't match this one. Feels like home! Plus there is a pool, jaccuzzi and a place for kids to play outdoors.

Room was clean, large and what we needed for the most part. If you plan to take advantage of the pool or hot tub, ask for extra towels at check in. There are exactly 4 for a family of 4. The room was updated and very spacious with one big issue - the mattresses are so old you can feel the springs through them. Restless night’s sleep for all of us. But the property is nice and so are the staff. Diner next door is delicious!

Family trip. Five adults. We ordered a room for five adults in advance. We were shocked to find out that one extra bed was for 1 child. Small and very uncomfortable. My 21 year old son slept on the floor! No one to talk to. Lady at the receotion was rude! Didnt lift a finger to help me solve a laundry issue. Ladies at the restaurent near the lodge helped me instead. Room was not clean. Room for five with only two cups to drink. No coffee at the reception. 2 comouters at reception did not work! I needed to use the computer because of the poor wifi in the room. Bath tub was over flowing. Had to unclog it with my hands. What a shame..
