Wildwood Inn

Great location in a buzzing family friendly town with good choice of restaurants. We were lucky to be there over July 4th celebrations with lots of live music

Here for a family reunion and was okay overall. Pros: excellent location, ability to walk to restaurants, cafes, mini-golf, shops Cleanliness was good Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator = golden trifecta Fast hot water I did not meet Praise, but others in our party said she was very accomodating and pleasant Reasonable price Nice areas to sit and visit, on balcony and on premises Cons: Smoking is allowed on premises, although not supposed to be right by rooms, there's smoke in the air for sure Refridge smelled funky Room VERY dark, if I had a magic want would have painted every wall white! And hidden tv cords, moved mirrors to either side so as not to be covered partially by tv, added shelving to bath/vanity areas, changed dreadful drapes(only partially hooked, we well), changed out light fixture to embrace the rustic theme (was a faux stained-glass number) Several occupants were quite loud, past quiet hour but not way into the night Some of our party said their mattress was not comfortable, but no complaints from me Overall, we had a good time and weather happened to be perfect. Enjoyed visited Colombia and playing mini-golf!

Room was fine and bed comfy. Nice places to walk nearby. We were there dec 24 25 and 26 and never saw anyone in the office. Someone did answer the phone when we called. The homeless family next door was very noisy even arguing loudly for 2 hours in the middle of the night.

Very well kept, and clean facilities and room. Hotel is in a very nice pine tree-surrounded community with dining, entertainment and shopping options within easy walking distance. Our child also enjoyed the swimming pool.

Just a 1 nighter to have a look around Twain Heart . Wildwood was fine . Good value with great location . Only thing I would suggest is get room upstairs as floor very creaky from above so young child running around upstairs was our wake up call .

Unfortunately one of my wife’s makeup products was taken from our room, we contacted the owners and they initially said they would take care of it but then were extremely uncommunicative. Eventually they refunded 75% of the items worth because they said it was used! So disappointed, can’t believe that people that work at the hotel went through my wife’s things and probably my whole family‘s belongings. Terrible response, irresponsible management.

The Wildwood Inn was a great choice for our family. Do not expect anything fancy. Do expect a spotlessly clean room and bathroom, soft towels and some nice amenities for a budget hotel including mini-fridge, microwave, suitcase stand, ironing board and a coffee maker. If you have small children, note that the hotel does not provide cribs or play yard, make sure to bring your own. The rooms have showers, not tubs and the bathrooms are small. However, the sink is in a separate area from the toilet and shower making getting ready a bit easier. Breakfast is only provided in the summer. Overall, this hotel is an excellent value.
