Renaissance Walnut Creek Hotel

We were had a family reunion. Our room was located on 6floor and right above us on roof was mechanical unit which did go in a vibration cycle and loud noise shutdown every 15 min. Called front desk and explain . It was may be about 1AM. He responds was well…. Nobody has complained yet! I said I am complaining ! I can sleep. After a discussion he said I send somebody to look at. It was very bad night we sleep good and I was fighting with Migraines. I also want to complain about parking. When I made reservations no body told me about parking. Access from parking to hotel was really hard and long . The gate was broken and there was a guy standing by the gate and insert our tickets manually to open the gate. Long wait! And still she chariots $25 for the parking that supposed to be free! What a deal! N noisy room , broken gate and Dditional charge for parking and still didn’t hear a sorry weird from the staff!

I thought it was. Great hotel for the rate they charge. It was not Luxury but it was very nice clean. They were not stingy on the towels. They provided some amenities that was just right. I’ll definitely stay there again when I visit family in the Bay Area.

We went for Mother’s Day weekend. We enjoy going to the Renaissance Hotel. My disappointment was, when making reservations we were not told about the brunch (we purchased breakfast with stay) and one of the pools being closed. They did provide a small breakfast. Luckily we found a table to sit at. Many were not so lucky. While at the pool we were not able to order lunch from the restaurant. Some people ordered door dash and were reprimanded. My concern was we had little ones and needed to eat . I will still return, however I felt I wanted to bring this to someone’s attention. Thank you

Very convienient when visiting family who live in Concord. Nicely appointed hotel with very comfortable beds.

Great place to stay with the family! The pool is amazing and the location too.

This is my absolute HAPPY PLACE. The staff is friendly, the hotel is lovely and the rooms are spacious and clean. It has been around for a while and they knew how to do it right from the beginning...so expect a more matured hotel. The pool services the gym patrons as well as a lot of families with kids, so be aware of that when you plan your sunny pool day. Otherwise, its a wonderful hotel. Great getaway!

We had a view of a wall about a foot from the window and when asked if there was a room higher up with a better view I was told simply “no, we don’t have that here.” Hotel is more of an afterthought to the Bay Club which is on site. When it says 3 pools, it means 1. Lap pool 100% in use the entire time by Bay Club members, 2. A 4’ square pool used for water aerobics by Bay Club members and 3. A 1’ baby pool. Terrible towels. Not ideal or good for families staying at the hotel. The fire pit area was nice but no amenities out there. Beds decent, room was clean enough.
