HYATT house Pleasant Hill

We have stayed at plenty of Hyatt House locations. This one was not bad inside. The room was clean, but dated a bit, nothing to be too concerned with. We went to use the pool in the evening and I had to take my child to the bathroom. We went into the pool bathroom and there were small, brown cockroaches everywhere. I told my husband about it and so we decided to go to our room shortly after. The whole walk to the hotel door was disgusting. It was swarming with roaches! Now, had the staff helped us with checking out early I would have been a little happier. But we have been given the runaround for 2 days now and still have not heard from anyone to discuss this matter since we left early. I will NEVER stay there again, which is a shame because the location is actually wonderful.

It was a perfect stay. The room was spacious and the floor plan was perfect. Great place for a family vacation. Close to entertainment and good food.

We had a wonderful stay. The kids had lots off fun.i I would like to give the male front desk staff that was there on Sunday after 4pm. There was a man not feeling good who thought he was having a stroke in the lobby. He got on the phone call 011, but was very sympathetic to the man, keep talking to him telling him there almost here. Keep calling him by his name to get him to relax and breathe . I applaud his actions and felt safe.

Visiting family and needed a place to stay 2 nights. They recommended Hyatt House. Convenient to stores, shopping, SF and Walnut Creek. Pool area and basketball court nice. Breakfast was good - what you expect, well stocked coffee. Room was fine, average, everything clean and quiet. Good value and rate.

Staying here was an awesome experience. My family and I stayed in the two bedroom suite for 1 night only, we booked the same day and it was better than I expected.

I had left my review regarding the additional night that we stayed here when we decided to stay an extra night because of wanting to still keep spending time with my daughter & her family. This location was nearby their home which made it so convenient to get to as much quality time with them. Would stay here in a heartbeat for our future visits.

Booked a 2 bedroom suite. At check-in they stated they had AC issues and put us in 2 separate rooms which was alright. Breakfast was much better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in, had an omelette station. Room was clean, kitchenette has everything you need to cook, perfect for families. Would stay again.

It was very hot, so we mostly stayed in our air conditioned room visiting family. Loved having a full kitchen!

We chose this hotel due to the proximity to family. The place was okay. We really enjoyed the pool and appreciated having a kitchen in unit since we had a little one to accommodate too. The staff was nice, but not super helpful. They couldn’t initially find us more towels for the room or pool and sometimes we had to wait a while to be helped. We also had missing things in our room (ice tray, door sign) and a shower-tub combo that didn’t allow for a bath - not sure if that was intentional. The complimentary breakfast didn’t taste very good. Overall a decent place, but I’m sure there are better places for the money in this area. I did appreciate the full-refund cancel up to two days before, but would be nice if that didn’t cost extra or was refundable if you keep your reservation.
