Home2 Suites by Hilton Alameda Oakland Airport

It was a nice enough hotel and close to the family that we were visiting. We were on the top floor of the hotel and could get absolutely no cell services. We mentioned it several times and no one had a solution for us.

This property exceeded my expectations. I stayed for 2 days, due to my home being remodeled. The rooms are spacious, filled with all the necessities. It was truly a home away from home. It was a plus because they accept fur babies. The decor was lively and fun. I would definitely go back.

One of the best experiences my family and I have had at a hotel. Very clean, every time I walked into the building it’s smelled like bleach. I will be returning with my family!

This is an excellent, family friendly location. It is striking distance from Bay Area sights while being located in a secluded, peaceful area. There is close grocery shopping, BBQing facilities and a quality breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful.

When I arrived for check in there was a man that walked in before me, no problem. He went to the desk and I got in line behind him. He tried to check in and didn’t have the money. The attendant called a neighboring hotel to accommodate him and they were booked up. No problem. The man asked to use the restroom to which the attendant obliged. I asked her if I could check in at that point as I am alone with two small children struggling with three bags. She tells me “he is just going to the bathroom” but he already established that he wouldn’t be checking in due to pricing. I waiting patiently again. He comes back from the bathroom and asked for the wifi so that he can search for another hotel. At the same time a guest came to access the laundry services and she assisted him as well. At this point I had to raise my voice and ask “can I check in now while he figures out what he is going to do??” After waiting 15 minutes I checked in and had my room key in less that 5. I was a bit disappointed that the she didn’t accommodate me while the nonguest went to the bathroom (which took about 5 minutes). Especially because I had already paid and had two small children to wrangle and many bags BY MYSELF.
