This hotel was very cool! Please note this is a very “open concept” layout. The shower is out in the open and does not have a curtain or door. This was fine for us as a couple but might be awkward for families or friends. The rooms were decorated so nicely and the pool was great. They have waitstaff that bring you drinks and food. The coffee shop on the property, cartel, was also very good! All the staff were extremely kind. The only thing I will say is not to walk around that area at night. We got in late and walked .2 miles down the street to a taco truck for some dinner. Walking back we were chased by a man but luckily he stopped and turned around. During the day seemed fine though.

I think all the extra resort fees in fine print along with insanely loud pool music to 10pm every night ruined this place for me. The first time we stayed a few years ago the property looked great and everything was clean and well done. Was told by Expedia we got a bottle of wine upon arrival. Nope. Chairs outside our fireside room were dirty and well used. The room did not have the record player any more and the bench at the end of the bed was about to fall apart as well as the leather headboard pillow strap broke and wouldn’t stay up. What it did have was a few mosquitos that wouldn’t leave me alone. The pool lounges are so dirty it’s gross. People literally making out on them too and one couple definitely needed to leave. No one said a thing and kids were splashing in the pool with this view. Pool Lounges are reserved the day prior and you get what you get. Some people like more shade than others and well too bad here you go. The food at Lyle bar is actually good and the drinks in cans are lukewarm. Ice drinks arrive mostly melted because they sat on the bar waiting to be delivered. It’s a party hotel and the charm is gone. We won’t be back.

Loved our stay at the Uptown Rise Hotel. We visited the Phx area for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and very quiet. It was nice the hotel had more an adult feel with no kids running around. We enjoyed the amenities in the room and loved the popsicles at the front desk. We would definitely stay at the Uptown Rise again.

Rise Uptown Hotel is a unique property. Just about everything from check-in to records players in your room is wisely thought out. My husband and I enjoyed the polished style, comfortable beds, delicious popsicles, and friendly informative staff. Highly recommended for you and your family. We will be back and with our dogs next time!

This is the only place for us to stay in PHX now. YES to rooms with no carpet. YES to this location. If you are a family or want peace & quiet, or even just to watch a movie in your room, be aware of day-long loudly DJd pool parties on the weekend. But hey, the music was dope too.

I was in town on business and the Rise Uptown provided a great place to relax in the evenings. Everyone was super friendly and I liked that I could just text the front desk if I needed something like ice. You get two free popsicles during your stay, I got the chocolate milk and cereal (Fruity Pebbles) ones, and loved them. It made me feel like a kid again. The only mild downside is that there isn’t coffee in the room, BUT there’s a nice coffee shop on the premises that you can easily mobile order from, and it’s not a big property, so even in the heat, it didn’t bother me. However, that was not a big enough issue to count against them, just something to keep in mind if you need your morning coffee ASAP.
