Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Phoenix Midtown

Average stay overall. Location was great as my family was there to review some of the colleges. We had to deal with weed smell in the hallways for a couple of days. Luckily it didn't get into our room that much.

If you’re bringing you’re family, you’re safe, the area may seem a bit odd but the hotel is safe, friendly staff, bathrooms are a bit dated but it’s not the end of the world.

We stayed 3 nights. The staff were nice. The room was clean. We were by the elevator and it was quiet. Cons...the safe was broken, the tub's water didn't get hot enough and it was hard to turn off the tub's spout so it wouldn't drip. The maid forgot to leave washcloths the 2nd night. Still, I would stay there again as it was convenient to family.

Not as nice as I was expecting from the reviews and the price I paid. The staff was very nice, but this hotel is in need of updating. The bathrooms especially. Old tubs, rust, and mold. There was also a funky smell in part of the room. I believe it was the fridge. Luckily the beds felt clean. My family frequently stays with Marriott and we are almost never disappointed. I wouldn’t stay at this one again.

Fantastic stay as it was a last minute booking (due to another hotel chains staff problem ) & the evening ladies comforted me beyond words! Flown in from a family funeral to spend time with extended family - and treated so poorly at the prior place I was nearly in tears with relief when I got to Fairfield Inn - it was nearly almost midnight and both Shakira & Jasmine greeted me with warm smiles and happy attitudes - I was so shaken from what I just went through they offered me a choice of beverage from the 24 snack bar - I grabbed a water - after checking me in and comforting me - they got me into a clean beautiful room within 15 mins!! The bathroom was clean & all amenities were available - small coffee maker / microwave abs refrigerator as well. The bed was clean and amazingly soft . Tv was great and big and even greeted me when I turned it on!! I will continue to visit my brother throughout the years and I have now found my place to stay! Thank you again to the wonderful ladies and overall staff there !! You are appreciated 🙏🙏

Room was comfortable and perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. It was spacious.
