easyHotel Cardiff

This is a review from my experience... the place itself has the amenities you need for a nights stay (or a couple) The room itself was lovely and clean & so was the bathroom. There was a tv in the room and plently of plugs for charging phones etc. Unfortunately there is no tea or coffee facilities in the room itself but you can purchase this from the reception area of the hotel which is made clear when you check-in. The location of the hotel itself is great as youre within walking distance to fast food chains, and plently of shops. The only downfall to our stay was the noise levels. Ive stayed in tons of different hotels in plenty of different cities but none have been quite like this one! Parties were banging around, shouting, slamming doors and smoking weed from the hours of midnight right up to 6 in the morning... im not a party pooper and I understand people want to have a good time, im also aware it's situated in a great location for people to come back to after a night 'on the town' but there was such a lack of respect for anyone else staying in that hotel.. I was informed by a member of staff that the floors are checked throughout the night but i dont believe that to be the case. I guess what you get what you pay for but screaming and shouting in corriders outside of peoples rooms and constantly slamming doors makes my 4 kids seem better behaved. I understand it isnt down to the staff how others choose to behave but I feel they could have refunded after an awful stay

Was refused entry with having booked a double room for me, my partner and our baby. We turned up to check in and it was pouring it down with rain and our baby was screaming, It took 13 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, and then they would go on to say we would have to book another room with having the baby as it was max 2 guests per room, which it did NOT say whilst booking or after in any of the emails. I rang up the day before explaining I didn’t drive or don’t have a passport, and neither did my partner so we didn’t have a form of ID, they said everything was okay and just to screenshot the booking information and bring the bank card from the person who booked it, which we did and was told we wouldn’t even be eligible for a refund after all the trouble. SHOCKING
