Hotel Indigo Cardiff, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful room, did have Pokémon cards in bedside so not sure who cleaned before they maybe didn’t check the drawers! Comfy beds and bathroom shower amazing! Great layout for a family room, 2 large queen beds. Only compliant was there weren’t any coffee pods for the coffee machine, we did ask housekeeping and they said they’d ran out! Also only 1 pack of 2 biscuits for the four of us so we had to ask for some to be sent to the room!

Not too difficult to find like some others have said, a tip would be to use Google maps rather than iPhone maps as it is tucked away in an Arcade. We used Q-parking in Cardiff Bay as the NCP near by didn’t have very good reviews. We didn’t mind the 35 minute walk as we ate lunch in Cardiff Bay. Once arrived, we checked in and greeted by a very bubbly and lovely Maya, who also gave us a recommendation to visit the Live Lounge which is very close by, it was just what we needed a night away from our young children to let our hair down. We also learned that breakfast was included which i hadn’t added booking through Hotel.com, so that was an added bonus, in which we chose room service, which was prompt, hot and very delicious (The full welsh, salmon, poached eggs and avocado, plus danish pastries) The room was fabulous and modern, with a music theme to it, everything needed in the room, plus a fridge with a couple bottles of water in. Large walk in shower with a rainfall shower head. Also we requested to stay until 12pm, had a call back from reception to say 12:30pm would all be okay, we couldn’t believe our luck to chill out some more. Overall stay was perfect, and such great hospitality, thank you Hotel Indigo.

My family and I loved the hotel for its stunning decor, warm and friendly staff and delicious breakfast. The best breakfast and best coffee I had on our recent visit to the UK was at your beautiful and cozy restaurant. Diolch.
