Holiday Inn Express Milton Keynes, an IHG Hotel

I booked this as a last minute due to the property i had booked was awful and we couldnt stay. The receptionist, Dan, was welcoming and friendly. The overall atmosphere was positive and the room was clean. I stayed with 3 children so had a big bed and a sofa bed which wasnt made up when we arrived. However, this was good as it gave us space in the room. When we went to the harvester across the car park, i asked for the bed to bw made which is was by the time we got back. Loved it! Breakfast was good too. Basic fry up and continental.

The only problem we had was walls were really thin so could hear people in room next door. Also could smell weed through night..maybe need to look at who is going in rooms next to a family room..

Wonderful staffs , all very polite and attentive to any needs! It was a great family stay . They have provided everything we needed for our stay and extra care from the lady at the reception. We will surely come back next time we go to MK

Great family stay. We chose this hotel partly due to the free parking and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of parking spaces available. Staff were available and polite. Had our room further away from the lift, which made for a nicely quieter stay. Room was clean and we had a selection of pillows. Bed was slightly uncomfortable. Great breakfast with hot and cold options. An option for boiled eggs and ham and cheese would have made the breakfast amazing.

Staff was friendly and very helpful to our needs. The family rooms could do with being a little bit bigger feel very cramped no where to sit and get ready as women even a mirror on the wall so can sit on edge of bed would be fab. The bathroom could do with a little modernisation as it’s looking old and drab in some places which makes it feel not 100% clean for a clean freak like me. Getting an early night with the kids wasn’t easy due to the people above who was banging till about 1am in the morning so had very tried kiddies and adults that had a long drive ahead of them that morning. We did ring down the hotel staff did go up but it didn’t stop them shouting and banging

The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. The staff were extrtmly pleasant andvery helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a family trip.

Nice hotel to stop over. Clean, comfortable mattress and good breakfast. Nice staff. The only negative I would say is the sofa bed, although it was for a kid it was not quite comfortable and very soft pillows, in the morning I woke up with my head in the mattress and with a neck pain. Next time I will use at least 2 pillows. Overall all good, I would stay again for 1-2 nights.

It was ok. 3 towels for 4 people and only 1 pillow each as staying with kids despite adverts saying you get 2 pillows. No big deal it was ok not bad not good

Good relation between price and what you get. The only complaint I can say is that at check out I had to wait because there was no one there and after 10min or so a staff from the restaurant came to do the check out, that because probably she was not trained in check outs asked me for payment, so i had to show her my bank statement to see that it was paid. Apart from this little thing, no complaints at all and I will use it again if I am going to the area. Clean room, the sofa bed only for children otherwise is horrible, the double bed could be more comfy but it was ok ... Breakfast was good, something you can expect.

This hotel was ideally located for our needs when visiting family in Milton Keynes. It is comfortable and had the room we needed for our stay. The only downside was breakfast on Sunday morning, the hotel was very busy and it meant that people were milling about waiting for tables. However, this would not put me off staying again
