Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - Central, an IHG Hotel

It was a great weekend with my 2 daughters and three grandchildren

breakfest was first class ,staff very nice The pool was poor the water was very cloudly the quiet zone on the third floor was noisy early am on two days children running up and down corridors banging doors etc

Great price, we had a family room with plenty of space for the 3 of us. I would have liked plug sockets near the bed ,there were only two near the tv, there was a space for a fridge but sadly no fridge so no way to keep your drinks cold. Bar and restaurant are fresh ,clean and have everything you need to relax . We did not eat in the restaurant but we had breakfast. Lots of choice ,nice fresh fruit , pastries , hot and cold drinks and a full English breakfast. The hotel is opposite the city centre and a 10min drive from IKEA and the new Ninja warrior play centre which our son loved The swimming area could do with a make over but its included in the hotel price so can not complain. I would recommend this hotel, thank you for a lovely stay.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful room with lovley comfortable twin beds. Grest breakfast. Pool was in the evening at 6pm very crowded and noisy with lots of kids but the a slim line did help to do some adults swimming.

1. The room wasn't as clean as I expected! 2. Could not get a good night sleep either, as the next door bedroom was one of them where there is a door between our rooms, and they kept opening their side and banging it almost all night, plus never mind the noise they were making but that is not hotels fault. The hotel should have had that side of the door locked as ours was. I thought that was normal to have both of the doors locked unless you stay as a family. I don't know why they side was opened, the hotel either forgot to lock it or it's broken. Either ways- not very good! 3. The breakfast- does not taste as an "award winning" one. It is an standard good tasting breakfast. However, DO NOT EAT the pancakes,they were the worse tasting pancakes I have ever had. I know this is a big statement, but honestly, they were really really bad. 4. Good things- the bed was comfortable and we got WiFi in the room.
