5 out of 5 stars

We booked a family room at the Moxy for two adults and two children with a bed and a sofa bed. The room was amazing the sofa bed was in its own sectioned off room and the whole room was very spacious whereas family rooms are usually cramped with a sofa bed squeezed beside the other bed. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone got a welcome drink - a house cocktail or small beer or wine for the adults and juice for the kids. They gave us 2 discount cards for local restaurants if we wanted to eat out. The breakfast selection was great. Lots of choice. Would definitely stay here again

The Moxy is a trendy hotel in MK, looks like mainly business travellers there. The staff were nice and welcoming, our room was fairly basic but well designed and comfortable. We did have breakfast there one morning and the continental options were fine, not really into pre-cooked breakfast items so we gave those a miss. The thing that would make this hotel really wow instead of just okay are things like using eco friendly toiletries and cleaning products. Our floor smelled strongly of bleach and their toiletries were full of petrochemicals (YUK!). There are great British eco brands that would just lift the hotel to another level. Also no storage in room was a bit of a letdown. Might be fine for overnight business stay but not for family travel or longer stays. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by.

I stayed at the hotel for 1 night with my family. Wife and 2 kids. I also had my relatives and in total I believe we had 4 family rooms. It is a nice new hotel with a cool entrance. the checkin area is also the bar. cool little smoky fireplace and pool and football table to keep entertained with some drinks. The rooms were nicely laid out. only issues which isn't really a negative but something I would have preferred would be for there to be a fridge in the room to store milk for kids there is no phone in the rooms, you need to use your own mobile to call on the normal hotel number to get through to staff, as its new, and new tech, it would have been nice to have a Netflix feature on the tv so users can sign into their own account to view. the sofa bed is not the comfiest of sofa beds I have slept on. But to be honest the hotel staff were great and made the experience enjoyable. it took 4 of us to fix a cot until we had to rely on good old YouTube to show us how to lock the cot into place. great breakfast and checkout is noon so win win. definitely would stay here again if in Milton Keynes.
