Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt Hotel, London

Lovely hotel in a super location. A family room booked, so a little tight on space. We were only there to sleep though. Great breakfast, and a nice bar. Super reception service. Will definitely be back!

Stayed in a family room but the pull out bed was awful. Was sloping and springs in my back!

Convenient location, 5 minutes away from underground station and convenience stores. The front door to the hotel is supposed to be automatic, however it is locked most of the times and staff don’t pay attention if you are waiting to get in. We had to wait outside many times and had to almost bang on the doors to get the staff’s attention. The rooms are cramped. We had a family room. The sofa bed was made of 2 twins with a huge gap in between. My child’s leg got stuck in there while asleep. The heating/cooling unit is so loud. The guest experience manager was the only saving grace. He was very kind and understanding.

Great staff and service. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is simple but good quality. The hotel is located close to the underground, supermarkets, good restaurants and many tourist attractions. We travelled with small kids and were really happy with our stay.

Convenient and friendly stall Tight quarters thou. I expected a family room to be bigger, not just a cot added to a regular room

We booked a family room which is supposed to hold four people, but two people are given a pullout bed. The pullout is probably only large enough for two small children and the mattress is extremely thin. The entire bed squeaked with the slightest movement. Fortunately, we realized that our two teenage daughters would not be able to sleep on that, so we booked a second room for them. When I asked the staff member at the front desk for an extra key to their room, he refused to give me one because he said they were running low on keys. It wasn't until my husband explained that this was needed for safety that he reluctantly handed over one more card key. The service at breakfast was extremely poor. Overall, I will not stay at this hotel's location. The Radisson Blu at Covent Gardens was a stark contrast to this location. The rooms there were spacious and very nice. The staff there was very professional and the staff at breakfast were very friendly.

I had a great stay here. My room was a single so it was small but very comfortable with a big, beautiful bathroom. It was a great location and had a great restaurant and bar. Staff was considerate and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
