Great stay despite not knowing about the $50 resort fee per night. If I had known, I would have stayed at a different hotel. Great accommodations if traveling with a child. Food at Cafe Pierre is excellent. Wish there were more food options aside from Denny’s and Starbucks around the corner but again the location is what it is. Would stay again but will book directly and not through a 3rd party like Expedia.

hi, my stay was from 4/19-4/25 2024. I found the room to be small due to that there were 3 adults and one child in the room. I found it boring because the music was just english. it's Puerto Rico mind you they should have play some spanish music.there was only one restaurant that didn't service spanish/latin food. The vending machine and the ATM was out for the time I stayed.

Rooms are vary small no room to do anything if you use the second bed for kids doors taped off self parking flooring when it rains water pouring down from ceilings unsafe

We enjoy our family time at this hotel. The hotel staff was super friendly and respectful especially Christian he made our ride to the beach really fun!!! On the other hand the staff at the beach isn’t the best. The person had a really bad attitude and was not happy to assist us with the umbrella and beach chairs.

I've stated this property several times over the past 4 years. It's very family friendly and the staff is incredibly accommodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent amenities with pool, convenient location, friendly staff. The main drawback was the bathroom - transparent glass shower door even for bed rooms (family), which meant only one person could use the toilet/shower at a time. The shower door should really be tinted glass.

Overall the stay was good. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Property was centrally located with decent amenities. The one issue we had was with the breakfast package. We made our booking through Expedia and took the free breakfast package. Upon arrival at the Doubletree we confirmed that we had the free breakfast package. It was only when we were checking out that we were told that the breakfast package did not include our 2 kids and they were charged a total of ~$100 for 4 days. This was not how we had made our reservation in Expedia. So Expedia and Doubletree at San Juan need to provide all details about the free breakfast package upfront than leave their customers out to dry during checkout which is too late.
