The hotel in itself was beautiful. An old time classic look that has been very well preserved and taken care of. But with any old building there are always issues. Our floor was marble and the AC vents would get really moist so it would sweat onto the room table and make the floors humid and very slippery. The staff tried to take care of the problem but just didn’t succeed. Upon arrival they confused our room or I was confused. When I booked the ocean view it didn’t necessarily mean oceanfront. I didn’t realize the difference and so my husband was disappointed. The lady at the fromt desk, Gina, moved us up 2 floors to try and fix the problem but was not very nice about it at all. Everyone else was very nice. The food is unbelievably high priced. It was good but not $300 good. My daughter ordered some pina coladas with no alcohol and they were $20.00 each. Just very, very high priced. They said it was family friendly but not really. The restaurant downstairs is gorgeous but it is more like a cigar bar or that’s the feel you get from it. There’s another restaurant called Tequila & Tacos and that is a very bar like atmosphere as well. The Ola restaurant is nice but it’s the one that’s very high priced. The pools that are kid friendly are small and that’s all there is. The Saturday we were to come home I did see a room set up with pickle ball and games but no one was in there. Overall it’s nice and would stay there again but would take all I learned into consideration.

Highly recommended! This resort is located in the most convenient and beautiful location in Condado. The beach front is spectacular. The resort was clean, the employees professional and courteous, on site restaurants delicious (pricier side), and accessible to many excursions/restaurants/tourist attractions. Overall, my family and I truly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice Hotel. Great views. Food was excellent. Pools were a little small but there's was plenty of options and two separate side for adults and families. Service was great.

We truly had a great time while staying at the Condado Vanderbilt. The best part of our trip was the impeccable service we received during our entire stay. Most specifically at the pool during the day. Michael and Luis were more than attentive to our needs and went way above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The main pool was closed for repair which was upsetting at first but because of Michael and Luis it turned out to be completely fine. The food at the hotel is good but completely overpriced ($25 for a kid size plate of plain pasta and butter with a bit of grated cheese and bread) and very limited options (lunch and dinner menus are the same). But overall, it is definitely a very nice place to stay.

Limited entertainment opportunities, especially for teenage kids; no water sports activities except for unprofessional kayaking and outdated paddleboard nearby; no referral for other water related activities such as jet skiing; no adult pools for swimming; no whirlpools near main (mediocre wading pool). No play area for children. No activity area for older kids. Too focused on business meetings. Hotel should invest in the next door property and develop a true resort facility with real pool for adults and enter into agreements with water activities center in close proximity to hotel Otherwise, boring!

I don’t think I would consider this a 5 star hotel. It was nice but not 5 stars. When you check in they require a $600 hold on your card for resort fees & if you want to charge anything to your room. Then a few days later they will charge another $200 hold due to the resort fees that occur on a daily basis. I’m still waiting for the $200 hold to release. When we checked in we were offered complimentary champagne to our room which we never received. The rooms were nice but the windowsills had this black dirt all around it and the windows were dirty. They had dead bugs and feathers on them. Pigeons were on our windowsills often as well. Bathroom was nice. Refrigerators come stacked with drinks (water, soda, seltzer) for a charge. The water is the only item that is free in the fridge. There’s a little mini bar on the counter in the room as well. Pricey but all easily accessible. The beach that the hotel is attached to is Condado Beach. You really can’t swim here due to the extreme currents. You can sun bathe and relax with a beautiful view. The pools and hot tubs are nice. The infinity pool was nice during the evening. A lot of kids were there during the day and splashing around. They do have an adults only section downstairs which is relaxing. There’s tons of shopping and food around the hotel. There’s a liquor store across the street as well. We couldn’t rent a car due to the limited availability, so we ended up Ubering which worked our way better anyway. Very affordable.

We traveled with our 2 and 3 year old and had the best time! There is a separate adult area of the hotel and the non adult side still feels adult. We felt like we were still on vacation even though our kids were there. The food at the hotel was great. Beach was the nicest on the strip. Andliz and Michael were so helpful and nice. Gave us beach toys for our kids. I would not think about going anywhere else on the strip there. They all seem pretty ghetto. Only thing is the beach wasn’t swimmable for small kids. That is not resort specific though. It’s all of them.

I absolutely love this property with one exception. I wish they would only allow adults in the infinity pool, parents bring their kids to splash and make noise in such a little space and you really don't have peace and quiet. We had to move to another area
