The apartments are excellent for a travelling family. The location makes it walkable to restaurants and the lake.

The foyer was just beautiful , many sofas, several fireplaces, a very nice baby grand piano. The food was very good in the restaurant. The room was large and confortable. The staff was very polite and accommodating.

We love staying at the apartments attached to the hotel so we have a bit more room and a little kitchenette. We feel so relaxed there. Noise can travel from upstairs if there are active kids running and slamming stuff but that is to be expected in a vintage building. Staff are so lovely and the spa pools felt amazing on a cold winter morning.Location can't be beat and we love the history and beautiful design.

Great place for family stay. Thermal pools are a highlight for the kids. Kitchen was well stocked with stove top and microwave. Hospo staff were excellent and friendly with any request. Building is old so window panes are obviously not new but had to keep telling my kids to not touch them. Overall great stay and nice spacious unit for family.

This hotel is marketed as a old hotel with character. Let’s be honest there’s character and then there’s old and decrepit. Leaving a hole in the wall because you removed a heater isn’t character it’s decrepit. We stayed in a 2bdrm and it was terrible. Old, falling apart and in need of serious work. Hot plate that didn’t work, tv that didn’t get signal, the list goes on. In no way is this value for money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling as a family. I’ve seen caravans in better condition.

great place to stay, they have large apartment style for families, close to many attractions. Getting a total overhaul, looking fabulous with what they have done, shades of grandeur from the past

Went there for a short break on recommendation of a family member anf enjoyed to experience. Slightly tired ambience but almost added to the charm.
