Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin-minamiguchi

Our stay at Tokyu Stay Shibuya was amazing! We had a family suite with four adults, and even though it was a bit tight, the room was super practical. Everything had its place, and we never felt crowded. The best part was the washer-dryer in the room—it made our stay so much easier, especially since we could wash our clothes whenever we needed to. The shower was also great—spacious and modern. The location was perfect too! We were just a short walk away from a Lawson convenience store, which was really handy, and Shibuya was close by, making it easy to explore the city. All in all, Tokyu Stay Shibuya was a fantastic choice for our trip, and we’d definitely stay there again!

We are a family of three, and we truly enjoyed our day. We love the washer, dryer and unit and the convenient of getting fresh towels and trash collected every day. We love the surrounding area because it had so much restaurants, convenience, stores, cafés, and a cute area to lounge. We love how it is near Shibuya but separates its “busy-ness” from the hotel. Will definitely be back.

This was a decent hotel and a great location. We found it a bit overpriced for what you get. Very very tiny rooms! our family of 4 had to book 2 rooms. So it gets pricey, pretty quick. We stayed at a couple other Tokyo hotels which we preferred.

Spacious family room

We booked a Superior queen non-smoking room for 4 nights with our 8-month old infant and it was a comfortable stay. The room did smell like cigarettes a bit, most likely from being in proximity with smoking rooms, and it wasn’t as clean as we had hoped (there were some sauce stains on the kitchenette countertop & the bathroom floor had some sticky spots). The room was modern & more spacious than Japanese standards, except for the bathroom - which could definitely use a deep clean or a refresh. We did appreciate having an in-room washer/dryer & the kitchenette. The hotel is well-located, a 2-min walk from the quieter side of Shibuya station. There’s 2 Family Marts & a Lawson less than 3-min away and a lot of restaurants nearby.
