all day place shibuya

Location was the only thing good about the hotel. Room was old and reaks of mold. For some reason it hold humidity too much its like living in a sauna. Air conditioning doesnt work well. Set it at 25c it feels like a hot tropic, at 24c it feels like a freezer. We sleep about 30 minutes straight a time trying to adjust the AC back and forth from 24-25. We can look past these unfortunate things. What we can’t look past is how they seem not to care about leaving a lasting impression on customers. On our checkout date, we were warned 10 mins prior that if we didn’t Check out in time, we would be charged 3000 yen. We rushed and went as fast as we could and missed it by 4 mins. We thought it was fun and not a big deal…nope, we were still charged 3000 yen. Yes we were late in our check out, but mind you, their elevators were extra small, we are a family of 5 and we have 5 luggages and a stroller, everytime going up or down would take 2 trips because we dont fit in the elevators and would waste 10 minutes. The lady Manager on site didnt care of our explanation, mind you, we already paid the additional fee of 3000 yen in acceptance that we were a bit late. A very petty hotel if this is how they opperate. She got confrontational and told us this is how it is in Japan. No mam, we’ve been in Japan for more than a month now going to and from 8 hotels and has never been charged a single penny for checking out a little late, don’t blame this on Japan, it’s how your hotel works heartless

My sister and I brought our kids here for 2 nights. The location was fantastic, very walkable and close to many sights. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the beds were great. The restaurant was also excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful too! We’d absolutely come back and recommend!

Very very small rooms even for Tokyo standard - 15sqm. Take note when booking a child under hotels.com it’s up to 16 years of age, but hotel only accepts child up to 12 years old at a cost of ¥12,000/night. Breakfast is ‘free’ but when you get the bill you see the total you paid split into room and breakfast (¥1,100/p/day) - If you are like me and don’t eat breakfast, you can opt out of the ‘free’ breakfast by booking directly on hotel’s website. The one day I did have late breakfast, the yoghurt and granola, was very good! Absolutely fantastic location, quiet enough away from the main roads of Shibuya but just minutes walk to everything!

Excellent hotel, facilities, and location. The room was a little tight for a family of four.

It will be hard to find, but we were very pleased to stay here for 1 night. Not for large families but perfect for a couple. Basically, you get a bed, a toilet, a sink, a nice shower area, and great Wi-Fi TV across from your bed.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at All Day Place Shibuya. The room is very clean. I travelled with two young kids and the room size is comfortable enough for the 4 of us. Having said that, our luggage has a front opening, so I don’t have an issue with not having enough space to open it. I particularly love it that we don’t feel cold when we shower. That is something we had an issue with for the second hotel we stayed in. We can connect Netflix to the tv as well, which is a plus point for the kids. The location of this hotel is great too! It’s near the train station. There are delicious food and coffee in the vicinity. We will stay here again if we were to travel to Tokyo.

Talking about DIY. You can do check in yourself, which was too sophisticated for us. So we get help from the staff. Room is very comfortable. We have the big room for our family of 4. Location is very convenient. Very clean and comfortable.

Convenient hotel for family

Great for families with kids. Great breakfast, lunch, dinner. They were able to accommodate picky eaters with very little Japanese skills.

Pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay. Staff provided great service including calling restaurant for reservation and arranging taxi to airport. Onsite restaurant serves yummy pizza and salads. Coffee shop is a great gathering and resting spot. Excellent location with nearby conveniences. Had a corner room which was not overly spacious but the efficient design was adequate for our family of three.
