This hotel was clean and staff is very nice. The location is super close to entrance to Shibuya Station which makes getting anywhere easy. One direction is station and a McDonald's within 50 yards and the other has a huge mall, family mart, and Starbucks within a block. The location could not be better. The hotel seems to have some age to it but ok. A definite great place to stay to see Shibuya and all of Tokyo

I have stayed in many hotels on many trips to Japan. This was by far the worst staff service. It took us an hour to check in because they did not have our reservation. Then the clerk requested an expedia search from the back office and they brought a print out with our reservation but the clerks continued to claim they did not have our reservation. Expedia should make sure the hotel honors our reservation with the rooms reserved. We did not get the rooms we reserved. When we checked out, we asked the clerk to make a dinner reservation for us and she refused saying we had already checked out. We had checked out 1 minute earlier and also had paid for another room for a family member who was staying one more night but she was not willing to make the phone call. We will never stay at another Tokyu hotel.

I stayed here after arriving in Japan and the check-in process was easy, though I speak decent Japanese they do have resources in English to read and can communicate if need be. The proximity to Shibuya Station and nearby places is amazing and it's very easy to find (~3 minute walk). Despite this I never found noise to be an issue and though there are occasional sirens I don't recall it preventing me from sleeping and the curtains are great for keeping light out. If you are at all interested in the breakfast buffet, I'd definitely opt to get it included in your nightly fare on Hotels because it would make it significantly cheaper (normally ~¥1900 per adult per breakfast, 990 for kids) and I would do that next time. Great value for what I paid on here for a room with a double bed (~$63 a night) and I loved having a projector in my room to watch youtube/netflix but they also had amazon prime available to log into, as well as other free channels. The toiletries were pretty good, the hair products were a little iffy for my wavy hair texture but they work. The staff are polite and courteous, and don't automatically clean your room unless you put up a sign for them to do so which I appreciate. Overall good experience.

The hotel is decent. Rooms and toilets are small but that is a standard you would expect in Tokyo. Hotel services and staff are good. The hotel is walking distance to Shibuya station. However, it may be a challenge traveling with a family of children and two elderly parents. We had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs (there were limited escalators on train station platforms surprisingly) after taking NEX train from Narita airport. The platform we alighted was like at least 700-800m walking distance to the hotel entrance and that is if you know where to go! We walked rounds just to find the right exit (probably clocked closed to 1km of walk just looking for the right exit). There is an exit (exit no. 10) which is just about less than 100m to the hotel entrance but it was hard to find and is basically an underground tunnel that is not linked directly to the main Shibuya station. For those of you who are traveling there, it is better to look for Hachiko exit and take a walk to the hotel after crossing a street. The distance from Hachiko exit to the hotel is like 250m. The alternative is to go by an underground tunnel located just beside Hachiko exit, as mentioned above, and then snake in and out inside before exiting Exit no. 10. The walking distance and then ups and downs within the tunnel is probably 100m longer than surface walk. For a healthy adult, this is not an issue but may be more challenging if you are with kids and elderly.
