Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection

It’s a nice hotel but wouldn’t recommend for families with teens. We booked because it seemed like there would be so much for them to do but under 18 are considered children so they are blocked from the pool after 9 which is when they would normally want to hang out.

We were very pleased with our stay at the X. The staff were helpful and incredibly friendly. The facility itself was lovely and clean. We ate in the Valerie for lunch - beautiful view and good food. We did breakfast at Rose's - also a good meal although more options for kids might be helpful. Lastly, we grabbed coffee at the Cafe X - nice, open space and a perfect place to get coffee. Use of the pool area required reservations, which makes sense as it is a small area. It looked great and you cannot top the view. Overall, we were very, very happy with this hotel and would recommend it without hesitation. Loved it!

Was a great place to relax and sleep while visiting family in Toronto. Great pool and amenities! Very clean and great staff / service every where we went on property. *Drinks in lounges were high. Should have looked a drink menu better to see alternative options to hi priced hi balls.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Overall my stay was good. But the one lacking area if you are a Foodie, I do not recommend the restaurant there. The service was terrible, had to chase down my server for dinner several times, where I had to get up out of my seat to find them. I was hoping when we went back for breakfast we had a different server, which we did but the experience was the exact same. They brought coffee with no milk and sugar, did not check up on us after the food was brought when we needed an extra plate for our child. The restaurant wasn’t busy, times like this you can take advantage and give the best service. We told the manager but he seemed very inexperienced on how to handle bad service. Just wasn’t good. For what you pay it’s not worth it. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry 10 years, and it’s not hard to serve a table. All you have to do is smile and check in on your guests. Something as simple as that could not be done. We wanted to go for Mother’s Day but after that experience I will not be going back again.

My stay was amazing. I came with my wife to celebrate our anniversary and the concierge helped make our stay extra special with some suggestions and great communication on what the hotel has to offer. We had an amazing view of the lake and we got lucky to have gorgeous weather the whole stay as well. My wife and I agreed we need to come down again and bring our 2 kids cause they would have loved to stay there and enjoy all that hotel x has to offer as well.

booked here so my wife and kids can use the pool while im at work. we live in orangeville. it was closed for maintenance. i wish hotels would mention these things. we ended up going to the hilton instead.

We were not impressed at the set up. We had a infant child with us and had to walk with all of our bags and our baby. The check in staff was not friendly at all and almost came off rude. If you are going to have an event such as a race happening perhaps you could have had gold carts or at least assistance from staff with our bags.

This truly a five star hotel. It had a private movie theater that you can reserve for your family. The view was fantastic and the staff were very courteous and friendly. The gym was superb too.

We stayed here for my son's 13th birthday weekend. It was super convenient since we were going to Medieval Times and also a Toronto FC Soccer game. Everything was walkable for us. The pool was great - rooftop view was perfect. The kids loved the fact the pool was heated. We had to book our pool swim times, so if you're more into winging your plans - maybe you'd find that a bit of a pain to work around. Staff was great. Our room was great - we had a view of the CN Tower and BMO Field. Would definitely recommend staying here to others.

Hotel check-in was quick and easy. Friendly staff. The rooms were clean and we were offered a room upgrade. We took advantage of the basketball court, arcade and table tennis offered on-site at no extra charge. A bonus with youth children. Walking distance to BMO field if you are interested in attending a soccer match.
