An excellent property. We got very clean rooms. Really no reason to complain. I didn't use WiFi, but my family used it and it wasn't that good. However, that is a minor issue compared to other benefits.

Just stayed for one night before departing from airport. Nice and close to the airport. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. The kids loved the warm indoor pool. Nice welcoming staff. We would stay again.

The room was good, and the property in general was just what we expected. Didn't see much staff. Breakfast was OK, but didn't like the kids running around unchecked in the breakfast room.

No information booklet provided for wifi, temperature control or any other hotel information. When ever we wanted to use the pool it was full with 30-40 kids, no restricted hours. Water pressure in shower was very low due to restrictive shower head. Would try a different hotel next time.

So far we’ve had a great experience there both times that we stayed as we were in Ottawa for appointments. The only suggestion I’d make is that they would make regular cheeseless omelets alongside the cheese ones. Our family doesn’t eat cheese at all but love eggs. The first time we stayed the last there made one for my son without cheese and we were super thankful. (Autism food aversion is a real thing). The second time we stayed they wouldn’t do that. It would definitely be nice to get the eggs without cheese option. Thank you.

Close to airport, lots of dining options nearby. Hotel staff is friendly and professional. The continental breakfast had something for everyone, even my picky children. The rooms were clean however there were several water damaged areas on the ceiling in the bathroom and main area that were only partially repaired. I was unaware it was a “pet friendly” property and dogs in neighbouring rooms were noisy into the night and early morning which woke me. The pool area is clean however the deck is the same tile as the flooring throughout the rest of the hotel and is incredibly slippery when wet. Both of my children and myself slipped on different occasions when walking slowly in bare feet around the pool.

Amazing stay, the family really enjoyed the pool, slide , and hot tub! All staff were fantastic; always there to help with anything that you needed . Definitely a spot for families. Trails behind property that lead to spectacular views of river and mountains . Rate 10/10. Thanks Sandman staff for an unforgettable stay :)

The property is no prize. It's used by overnight hauliers and sports event organizers (i.e., lots of children around). The room is fine but the front desk, especially in the evening, is a surprise. I had to wait 20 minutes before anyone showed up at the front desk to handle my check-in. And when he showed up - late - the staffer had no contrition. His reason for being away: making cookies for the aforementioned hordes of children.
