Everything is good but the pool was closed and I have booked the hotel because of the pool . It was a bit embarrassing for kids

Greeting staff was rude and showed no interest in customer service. Furniture is old and worn out in the room as well as the dining area, which is very poor and disorganized and again, staff is not impressive. Aged bathroom with broken tiles and loose faucets, and some spiders on top. The beds were ok, although not super comfortable. The area around the hotel is ok, nice parking lot and The Keg restaurant and Tim Hortons are right next door. Additionally, the pool was not working, and this was not advised to me. My kids were extremely disappointed. Overall, this place is not at all worth the money they ask for.

We had a weekend basketball tournament and Ottawa hosted thousands of boys siblings and other family members. To find out the pool is out of operation and so is the gym facility. A lot of kids were very disappointed in not having the pool to swim in and no discount was offered. A lot of money just to sleep

I booked the hotel online specifically because they had a indoor pool and I was staying with my two young kids. When I arrived, the pool had been closed for over a week. It would be nice to have known ahead of time that a part of their facility which you pay for is not in service. Very disappointing especially for my kids. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection too.

The hotel room and staff are good. But I was given no warning the pool was closed. An email would havebeen nice. My child was super excited for a swim and was very disappointed. I booked some time ago and no warning up. Once known maintenance came up, an email would have been the least they could have done.

The pool was closed , and we had 8 grandchildren that we took to the hotel with intentions of swimming ! No advance notice of closure ! When we asked for a discount, we were told “ Too late, you already paid”. The lady at the front desk needs to have some manners !!

Very helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved the free breakfast buffet in the morning. It made life so much easier with kids.

That by booking and paying through Expedia leaves me no recourse regarding rectifying room issue, as the Desk Manager informed me. Arriving late in the evening with my kids did not afford me the opportunity to notify the desk regarding a plugged tub. Being told: ”Well, Mam, we have never had a problem with this tub before” and “Did you try the tub stopper?”, were less than helpful. Disappointing experience.

We stayed with our kids and had booked / nights with breakfast included. Breakfast was a container packaged. No mention of that ever.
