Sandman Signature Ottawa Airport Hotel

We stayed 3 nights for a family function, the rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We greatly enjoyed our stay and we coming back soon for our next family meeting.

I stayed with my 2 grandchildren and they loved the pool.

The bathroom bathtub was stained and dirty on the outside facing the toilet the shelf above the toilet was broken and loose making items fall. kids down the hall decided to congregate outside their room drinking in the afternoon while I was trying to have a zoom meeting. I will not be using this hotel again.

The hotel is beautiful and classy. It fits my family of 5 comfortably on one room.

We arrived at 2 and check in was 3 The system was down and had to wait until 3 to check in, I asked if it was still down at 3 what happens, nonchalantly she said we will figure out something My sons family was almost there and the kids where so excited about the pool so I asked if the kids could go in the pool before check in. They said no, pool was closed for maintenance. This hotel is not a 4.8 rate, more like a 3. Said the pool would be opened by six. After check in at 3 and everyone that was checking in got the door cards and none of them worked. Got the cleaning staff to let us in our rooms and then had to go back to lobby and get in line to get the key cards recoded. Finally worked. I called from dinner and they said the pool would not be opened that night, again kids disappointed. Went down for breakfast at 8 and asked about pool. They were waiting on maintenance to come back in, I told them to call our rooms when pool gets opened. They said they would know by 9am. Still no call at 930 so called down and still no idea if or when would open. They finally called at 10am and said it was opened. We all went in. Kids where finally excited about the pool. Very small pool for the prices of the room. The room garbages where left outside the doors for hours, someone should have been checking the halls to clean that up. Sat night after dinner went to the pool, no clean towels and people left the towels all around. My daughter in law told lobby, still have more

Absolutely terrible experience. We got here on a Friday afternoon after a 6 hour drive to find out their check in system was down and had to wait in the lobby with the rest of the guests having to check in. Our kids wanted to use the pool, it was closed for maintenance but was supposed to be open soon. It never opened that night. When we were issued room keys we got up to our room to find they did not work. Woke up again, Saturday. Not open. Finally around 9:40am after hounding the staff about when it would be opened they told us it finally would. The kids used the pool then we went to the local museum leaving the “room service required” sign on the door. We came Back to room keys that didn’t work again, no sign on the door, a bed that was still not changed from prior night (3 year old accident), dirty towels and overflowing garbage. Both nights the temperature in our room was 23-24C, the AC/heater unit did nothing. It did not turn on regardless of what setting we changed it to (and we used the thermostat on the wall as stated). So we were uncomfortably hot both nights. For $400 a night this is a joke!

Great stay! My little family and husband had a great time. Super friendly and comfortable.

Everything was ok except for Saturday evening coming back to what felt like 200 loud obnoxious kids in the lobby that continued running around and screaming until late into the late.

Was spacious enough for this family of 5. The bathroom was really nice, the beds comfortable and the pull out really helped!

This was a last minute option for us, with family of 4 for accommodation because of flight cancellations. The staff at this hotel were excellent! They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed!
