Best family long weekend ever, thanks Elgin team, you all are rockstar. I got baby crib and free upgrade. Pool and jacuzzis was clean and lots child safe jackets available. Restaurant pricy but Great service. The fire place in the lobby was magical. A woman from. Front desk. Give my daughter Alloween toys and super friendly. From cleaner to bell boy to front desk and technician, all 10 Stars. I needed the room heat fast, they brought small heater at 3-4 am. So nice ….

We stayed for two nights with the family. The location is great, close to Parliament Hill and Sparks street. The beds, bedding and rooms were very comfortable and clean. The building could do with a little freshening. It has a feel of old money grandeur but has lost a little luster.

Went for a family wedding and it was just beautiful. It was a last minute booking and I am so glad we decided to stay at the hotel. The room was a bit outdated and I missed not being able to take a bath but honestly it still was a really great hotel.

The location is very convenient even with a child, but the cleanliness of the floor because the carpets are not so good and the room smell weird but we think is the product their using for clean. Although this, I would return.

Your reservation does not include parking, add another $40 per day (unexpected) Facilities average, but no breakie, cant even find a kettle to pour a cup of tea. Tea is $6 in sit disn restaurant. I did like the walkability to parks and arts venue - but hotel was average and no microwave or even little AM snacks. Pool seemed nice, but tons of screaming kids and pool deck was dirty. Not worth the $250- $300 I was charged.

We were there with 2 of our children and enjoyed our stay. The pool was clean and warm. Easy access to travel around the city and sightseeing.

For being a family weekend this hotel is not family friendly. The majority of its guests and employees were not friendly with children. Aside from the cleaning ladies and our server at the restaurant who were very friendly. We had multiple noise complaints. The walls must be paper thin because even just talking people complained. We have small children so it was never late at night and it wasn’t early morning either. Overall the kids were well behaved and respectful so it was ridiculous. We would never stay here with children again.

I stayed at this hotel with my kids. Near downtown. All staff were friendly. The restaurant was good. I would recommend it.
