It rooms good for family

Exceptionally clean. Hassle-free parking and amenities. Good room service. 2 TVs with good kids channels.

Hotel was clean and convenient for our time in Markham. I didn’t not like that you had to reserve a time to use the pool, it was not kid friendly. The gym time is also limited and closed by 8:30 pm.

Property is big and clean. But the pool was close that day made kids sad.

We stayed for 5 nights for a family of 4. Great location with lot of shopping and restaurants around the area. What I don’t like is that they’re swimming pool. You have to book what time you want to use. It seem they rent their swimming pool to outside. Pool should be for hotel guests use. We used the pool once and never want back. Also lack of microwave. If you want to heat your food you have to go down to the lobby which is very inconvenient. For example I need to heat up my food for 1 minutes I have walk to the down the hall to the elevator. Walk past the front desk. Back and forth easy 8 to 10 minutes.

The suite was not recommended because the heat didn't work properly, electric outlets might not work. The bath tub got cracked that might not be safe for young child.

The property was in decent shape, but older and in need of updates. Our room was well-appointed, but had issues. The toilet never stopped running despite visits from the maintenance team. The dishwasher did not work - when either we or housekeeping tried, the end result was dirty dishes and clumps of soggy soap on the dishwasher floor. The compressor for the HVAC system was so loud it shook the walls in both rooms of the suite. The first maintenance guy to come said the only option was switching rooms, which wasn't ideal with young children already unpacked for a long stay. The second guy was able to fix the problem in a couple of hours while we went to the zoo. Pool is shallow and half-occupied with private swimming lessons and private club members, but our girls had fun. The advertised whirlpool/hot tub was permanently closed a long time ago - can't even see now where it may have been located. The pool is part of a private club that requires reservations (45-min windows) and a lengthy form to be filled out for each visit - not the most convenient.

We have stayed in a few hotels in this area and we likely won’t be back to this one. It was very loud and there were teams of children running around everywhere. There is a pool located in an attached athletic club area. In order to swim, you need a reservation and the pool was booked for the entire evening of our stay by one of the many sports teams. None of this was explained to us when we booked or checked in. This hotel is not worth the price.

Love their 2 bedroom suite for family. Open space. cleanliness, attended staff.
