Novotel Sydney International Airport Hotel

I booked three seperate rooms for our family members for an overnight stay before our trip to Hawaii. The hotel in itself was excellent for this purpose as it was clean & comfortable & close to the international airport. My only bad experience was when it came to overnight parking for two cars. On checking out my daughter was charged $30 & I was charged $20. On leaving the parking garage the exit gate advice was our parking was $7. I have questioned the cost in an email to the hotel but still have not received a reply some seven days later. I would urge people considering staying at the hotel to be careful in choosing how they will pay for their parking as the staff at the front desk seemed to be making up the cost as they went along. Ask for a set price or just park & pay at the gate on the way out.

Easy stop over before flight with family.

This is a terrible hotel. I can NOT believe that it got good reviews on hotels.com. The check-in process was easy and the beds were comfortable, (although they were on rollers and moved) but everything else was terrible. It was super noisy construction starting at 8 AM. The shower makes a terrible noise. Everything is do dingy that it feels dirty. There were coffee pods in our room, but no coffee maker and when we called for help, they couldn't figure out how to help us. Paint ti peeling off the baseboards, the curtains are broken and it looks like there is mold on the ceiling. GROSS. I would discourage anyone from staying here - complete rip off and false advertising. Not to mention and airport hotel that has limited shuttle service that would've cost us $48 for a family to get here. The cab was $50 and we ended up taking an uber, which was still $40. Airport hotels and shuttles should be easy - not difficult. The entire reason we stayed here was for convenience and ease. Neither was true.

Room was fine for our family- clean & comfortable. The airport Super Shuttle was long upon arrival- we were the last stop. Should have taken an Uber. The Shuttle was free but the Novotel website never mentioned we had to make a reservation for pick up to & from the hotel. We took an Uber back to the airport. Very good buffet which we booked when making our reservation. When we went down for breakfast we were told we would have to pay for it as our names/ room were not on the list. It was quickly resolved.

The property had a very convenient location as I had an early morning flight with my children. The staff were very friendly.

We stayed for one night in a family room. It was spacious, clean and quiet, and the staff were so helpful and efficient.

The hotel is close to the Airport. I was really impressed with the family suite that we had booked. It was a clean, spacious, beautiful room.

Loved it, great for families

Great place to stay, preparing for an international flight with two small children. The room was a fine size. There was a little games space down in reception that kept the kids busy, and there was a lovely walk with lots of trees to climb across the road when we needed to stretch our legs. The shuttle bus was timely and efficient. All staff from shuttle, reception, room service and restaurant were lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was a great inclusion that started our day right. We even used the pool, which was fun. It’s in a weird spot in a different building, but was no problem at all to head over there and use it. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s a great airport hotel. The wonderful staff gave my kids some games to play with. Clean, comfortable rooms. The parking fee was the lowest I’ve ever paid in Sydney. I’d definitely go back there when I fly out of SYD
