Holiday Inn Express Sydney Airport, an IHG Hotel

Good stay close to airport. Breakfast in the morning is right there waiting. Rooms was comfortable, but glass shower screen is not what most family members want to be watching!!!! Over would stay again

We were a family of 3 adults. The twin double beds were comfortable. The extra pillows of different firmness was useful. The inclusive breakfast was substantial and very convenient encore leaving for the airport. Coffee was strong. We particularly liked the fact that the coffee cups were warm.

Location is not close to international terminal and neither close to bus stop or train stop. Bette take cab. We booked two rooms for the whole family but they arranged us rooms at separate floor. The receptionist claimed other rooms are unavailable on the same floor until the manager came and managed to arrange us two rooms next to each other. The booking was under the same Expedia account and made the same time. Don’t understand why they would provide rooms far apart which caused inconvenience for the family. Limited choice of food and fair quality for the breakfast provided perhaps we went too early so some food are not prepared yet.

please guys, have some other bedding options available. a thick thick doona isnt cutting it . we had the AC on as cold as it gets and we all overheated. i actually went and slept in my car so my wife and kids could sleep... i cant abide overheating.

Very clean suitable hotel for overnights between international and domestic flights. Comfortable with two kids in tow. Easy to book the shuttle to airport. We weren’t there long enough to sample the food, but it did smell nice when we passed through reception area. The rooms aren’t terribly big, but with 4 checked bags for a family of four, it did just fine. Might be tight for more than two nights. 5 mins to domestic terminal. YES, I would book this again.

This place was awesome , it’s modern and clean and just what we needed after a long trip the staff are super friendly,I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Extremely terrible experience. Please do not stay in this property if you have very young kids. We checked in around 11pm and were threatened by property manager that police will be called if our kids will keep on talking and walking in their room. With extremely tired, special needs child and overwhelmed kids we were told to make them sleep at any cost otherwise police will be called to get us out of property. Extremely pathetic and insensitive.

Whilst the property itself looks clean and modern, the design of our room was terrible. The shower was surrounded by semi obscure glass right next to the sleeping area. This meant that even with most lights out the person in the shower could be seen by others in the room. Yes it was slightly obscure, however if you moved too close to the glass, everything could be seen. After 14 hours of travel, all we wanted was a nice shower and bed, however our family ended up sitting in the hallway while each one of our family showered. It was beyond ridiculous and made our teenage daughter (and the rest of us) feel very uncomfortable. The staff on check in gave us no information on the hotel apart from breakfast is over there and there is an airport shuttle. The staff on check out were much better and listened to our feedback on the room. Overall, a nightmare of an experience for 4 very tired and jet lagged travellers. We will not stay at a Holiday Inn again due to the risk of this set up being in other hotels of theirs.

Small room with two queen beds corner sofa was visibly stained. Bathroom shower and room divider was pretty see through fan didn’t work and water had poor drainage people in the room above allowed kids to run around all night keeping us awake and when we complained they said we could move room at 10 pm when we had to get up for flight at 4am. Could hear traffic and planes so if staying longer would stay there.
