My Place Hotel - Mount Pleasant

If I was to describe this place in a word of would be transactional. I called before reserving, asking if we could check in extremely early, like 10 am. I had been driving with my family all night and just needed a shower before an important meeting. They confirmed they had a double queen available, so I booked it here, used Google pay and pulled in a few moments later. True to their word we got into the room a few minutes later. The clerk was training another, and listening through the process it's interesting the steps they have to do because I didn't book directly. Wasn't a problem necessarily, just complicated For the room, nothing special. The bed is firm, the bathroom is OK. The toilet has... Low volume clearance. So if you expect it to flush a bucket of golf balls, you will need to get a plunger from the desk. The place doesn't really matter amenities. Food and drink are all at cost, save coffee. No pool or entertainment / game room. It is well located, and the process was simple and fast. The place wasn't loud, but it might have just been empty. Did exactly what I needed, nothing more or less.

I stay 11 days my wife and two kids we all love it the best stay we ever had i have no word everything was great!!!! Nice small kitchen I recommend for family, clean great area. I want to say to the staff thank you for your help nice of you guys when my son was sick clean sheet and towels thank you again to all William Irizarry

My family arrived around 90 minutes before the check-in time of 3:00. Upon arrival, I went to the front desk with no one present but saw a sign that said to pick up the phone and dial “0”. After 4 rings, someone who sounded like they were asleep answered. I asked if we could check-in early, and the person on the phone said, “No, check-in is not until 3:00.” So, that was fine. My family and I drove up to Milwaukee to the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum (which was awesome by the way). We arrived back around 4:15. Upon arrival, still no one at the front desk. They also did not answer the phone this time. Finally, after 5 minutes or so, an employee who appeared to be getting off work, walked behind the front desk without acknowledging me and started to walk away again before asking, “Do you need something?” I responded that I needed to check-in. She said, “Hang on” and disappeared for another 5-10 minutes. Finally, she reappeared with another employee who still did not acknowledge me for a minute or two. Finally, he said he didn’t know if my room was ready (90 minutes after check-in time). He left again and returned 5 minutes later. He stated the room wasn’t ready, but he gave me the room beside it (even though a handwritten note that said, “Sold Out” was on the door.) The total time to check-in was 20-25 minutes (not counting the 3 hours in between check-in attempts). The room itself was ok, but the check-in service was terrible. I do not recommend staying here.

All great stuff for the money, I support family businesses, all my best!

No extras like pool or breakfast but the room was clean and nice and had everything we needed (even a full-size coffee maker and fridge). Beds were comfortable, had plenty of space for all our kids and we had no issues. Would stay again.

Very accommodating. Was in an unfortunate situation with myself and two young children. I stayed here 1 week and felt so welcome and safe. The room was perfect for my family and I.
