Beds are extremely stiff. Breakfast was good. Door to room was so difficult to open our kids struggled.

Beds were comfy, pillows a so so but room had Smokey smell that was very offensive. Pool and hot tub too murky and full all day long with children. Suggest an adult time to enjoy

My room had an overpowering scent, like an air freshener bomb had gone off. It seemed like they were trying to cover up another smell of some sort. it actually aggravated my asthma so bad that I had to use all of my inhalers just to be able to sleep. I wish I would’ve asked for another room, but I got there late and I just needed to sleep. But it was difficult to breathe in the room. The walls were thin, I could hear dogs and kids in the hallway. The location of the hotel was not ideal- It was tucked back behind some dumpy looking building, a laundromat, etc. My room overlooked at the parking lot. I could’ve picked several different hotels, but I Thought AmericInn was a safe bet. Never again.

the hotel was in a convenient location for our visit to Madison--close to Mall for shopping, family, children's activities, dining options. location was easy to find; easy on/off highway access. Not real busy traffic and places close enough to walk within short amount of time,

We always use this hotel when visiting family in Madison. It has nice rooms and a great breakfast. We appreciate the “adult pool hours” in the evening. I was shocked to be charged a penalty fee for wiping our hands on a hand towel after eating an orange. The hotel claimed the towel was stained but orange juice washes out easily. The extra penalty fee is enough to find a new regular hotel if the hotel is penalizing anyone for wiping hands!

The treated me like I was stupid. Very rude. Charged my card on file $40 for what I might do to damage property before I even got to my room. They have signs up warning not to stain a towel or wash cloth or you will be charged 10 for a wash cloth, 20 for a hand towel and 30 for a bath towel. Not welcoming at all. It’s not the most run down hotel but it’s not fancy. Parking is terrible. We have 2 rooms for a family weekend at a Wisconsin badger game and it literally makes me not want to do another family vacation in Madison again. I feel like they are money hungry with charging and processing fees before we get to rooms and having signs like that. I plan to fight the charges if not refunded by check out.

They were accommodating for our children who were there for hockey tournament. What is did not like was the corset for breakfast or the fact that I was charged $20/day to park. That is absolutely ridiculous when the nightly charge for the room was also over $200/night and I am both a senior and a member. Very disappointing.
