Hampton Inn & Suites Madison-West

The staff, were universally friendly and great to deal with. Katherine especially stood out. Breakfast was average Hampton Inn fare and met expectations. We ordered dinner from the Indian place down the street and it was spectacular! We had two rooms for 5 nights and overall it was a pleasant stay - we look forward to coming back again. The location is a quick trip to many shopping and grocery needs and their pool/whirlpool was enjoyable (except when adults were not supervising large crowds kids - but that was just one night and not the hotel's fault).

Our entire experience was phenomenal. We checked in after a long day of driving and Jake was kind, open and so helpful. Our room was awesome, clean and modern and the beds were really comfortable. The best part was the pool! My 5 and 2 YO sons LOVED the pool- it was perfect for them and us and is open from 7 am until 11 pm, which as a parent having the pool open early is so great ! It was so quiet and comfortable, I didn't hear another guest after our door was closed. Paula was so wonderful when she helped us with breakfast and kind even when my kids were making a mess. Another employee, a gentleman cleaning, even helped us out when our kids needed help. Ashok was wonderful when we checked out and there are a LOT of food options around. I hadn't decided where we would be staying on our return trip but now I know- we won't be staying anywhere else in Madison. I cannot recomment this hotel enough.

Hotel was clean, the smell of chlorine was insane from the pool area my kids eyes were burning, the breakfast was good lots of options.

It was an overall good stay Picked this for the pool for our four kiddos, but the amount of chlorine burns the eyes amd dries them out if in the pool part too long. Room wasn't overly large, no microwave. Beds were ok, not the most confortable. Breakfast was AMAZING-something for each one of our kiddos and us, plus changed daily. Overall, we loved the stay. Was just what we needed for our trip to watch the Badgers softball

Front staff was never at the desk, coffee was not available 24/7 like website states. There was not a volleyball net in the pool like the pictures show. On a plus side, kids loved the pools little play area.

The area was fine but the pull out couch was awful to sleep on. Could feel the springs when you lay down. Had to put it back into a couch to sleep. There is no quiet time at all. Kids running up and down the halls, banging on doors. Adults and kids being obnoxious and loud till midnight. As much money as I spent. It should have been a better experience.

Has a great pool for kids. Area is conveniently located and easy to access.

Great pool for kids. Had a 3 and 4 year old with and they had a great time on the slide. Perfect place to stay in Madison if you are traveling with toddlers. Very reasonable prices.

Have stayed here many many times and never really ever had a problem.. People were condoning in sexual stuff in the hottub while drinking, which made myself and my children leave. As well as other familys had to leave.. Then up in our room from 1130pm till 215am people next door had sex, you could hear it through the wall, had to turn TV on because my son and I could hear clear as day moaning, grunting, noises etc.. Turned TV up to 18 could still hear over it.. Had to call front desk and still keep the TV il on super loud.. Unfortunately wont be back. No one should pay $160 to not get sleep and be forced to hear people having sex..

The kids loved the size if the room. Pool was very nice. The breakfast was the best Ive had at a hotel
