The staff was helpful, room was clean, pool was well taken care of. The only downfall was the pool was really cold, but my kids didn't mind.

I smoke and I loved the fact that this hotel offered a smoking oasis that was heated!! Smoking is not a common thing anymore and the fact that this was an amenity offered to guests made me extremely happy! I also enjoyed the clean rooms, comfortable pillows and bedding. I was able to relax and rest as if I was in my own home. Not to mention the staff was very helpful and kind. I will continue to stay at Hilton’s on future vacations and recommend to all my family and friends.

My husband, myself and our child had stayed here as the location wasnt bad at all and it wasnt too far away from the childrens hospital. The front desk attendees were absolutely wonderful, so kind and friendly. Our room was in a magnificent spot and we had easy access to the pool. The pool was amazing, the chlorine wasnt too much or too little it was just right. The hot tub could have been a bit warmer but it was still relaxing. Would definitely stay again

This was a fantastic location to have as a base as we visited a family member who works in Madison but lives in a town north of Lake Mendota. We loved the shopping at Greenway Station. Our pets were lovingly welcomed, the bed was super comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The number of restaurants within walking (or a short drive) distance was very nice.

On the plus side, we were able to check in early (1:30) before visiting family. On the negative side, even though the room rate was about $140, breakfast was not included. We went to nearby McDonald's instead. Room was comfortable, but only comparable to many other places we've stayed. Not sure why it merits being more expensive than others.

I paid less for this room than I have at other hotels, and I felt the quality of the room and the hotel was much higher. The room was very comfortable and they had so many room service available to us. All kinds of room service and free wireless or corded internet. The pool was very enjoyable, with a volleyball net and a basketball hoop and a really cool kids area. The pool must have been heated because it wasn't freezing like most pools are, and it was all indoors. They had a game room, but the games they had weren't that great, and they only had about 4 of them anyway. The lobby had a restaurant for breakfast and it all smelled really good, but I didn't have time to eat there before I had to leave in the morning. Next time I stay there, I sure will!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn-West this past weekend. The location is near the best restaurants and shopping, plus it's in a nice clean newer area of Madison. It's a super clean hotel with a great pool for kids. It has all the amenities of an upscale hotel for a great price. The breakfast was outstanding...and quick! I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Madison area as it's close to everything and located just off the Beltline which makes it easily assessible to literally everything in Madison.
