Sleep Inn Summersville

We really enjoyed our stay at sleep inn! Perfect stop on a road trip. Right off the highway and fast check in. Staff is so kind. Clean room and comfy beds. Excellent continental breakfast in the morning! The kids loved making their own Belgium waffles. Would highly recommend!

My wife and I stay here with our kids a few times per year. It's obviously not the nicest hotel, but we have never had a bad experience here. The staff is always great, the breakfast is alright, and the price is reasonable. The few times we have tried other hotels in the area, we were disappointed, so we stick with the Sleep Inn.

The location, easy on off highway we were traveling and close to wife's family home.

I did my research for our 1st travel with my baby. Trying to be savvy booking a bargain. Weekend trip. Most was priced just a bit more than here. When we arrived we was early. The room was ready and staff very helpful. We was allowed to check in. There is a elevator. 2 carts for items to be carried in. My request for a crib was granted. However my request for ground floor ( since i read there was no elevator) was not. Which was fine. Rooms are small. Beds are small. There was barely room to fit the crib into the room. Room was clean and neat. The exhaust was not the best. There was smells after the men used the potty. Shower was slippery. Rooms are up to date. Pool is on the other side of parking lot. Never seen anyone use it, however looks nice. Ice machine was not working. Housekeeping was waiting. They asked which room and would we need service. Yes we did. When we returned late that night the room key didnt work anymore. So i waited patiently at the front desk ( since there was 1 person working) for over 20 mins. Meanwhile an crying infant and a 9 yo who got sick is stuck out of the room. When i got new cards that work the door was stuck. The flip lock had somehow flipped over and became stuck. Staff offered another room, one problem... all out items are in this room. She was able to push really hard which broke the door. SHe offered to move rooms. we declined. Our room never had any housekeeping. In the end they said theyd give us a discount i have yet to see.
