Quality Inn & Suites Downtown Walla Walla

My family was very shocked at the condition of the room. The entry door for room would not securely lock, the door apeared to have been pryed open as evidenced by the rubber seal being split. In order to seal the door, it was necessary to lift it up and push. Within 30 minutes of arrival I went to the desk to inform of the condition. After reporting the condition of the room, I was informed that there were no other room options available and that the door could not be prepared until the next day. My family felt that this left us in an unsafe and vulnerable condition. When requested to be placed in another hotel, I was informed that leaving would forfeit our prepaid funds, however, due to the unsafe condition and no alternative options, we made prevision to check into another hotel. At checkout the next morning, I asked the desk clerk when would someone be sent to fix the door, and was informed that the night clerk had not reported the door as needing repair. Management should be aware of their liability for not correcting this after being it was reported. The cost to the facily would be high. This was a devastating start to a planned vacation. Very disappointed and shocked with the cavalier attitude of the staff at the Walla Walla Quality Inn.

The property is beginning to show its age. We’ve stayed there many times over the years. This is the first time that the room had no place to sit other than the bed so we were not able to have any of our family that we were visiting come visit us.

Room was clean. Kids loved the pool. Staff was great, except for the manager. We had several families staying for little league district baseball tournament and most said he wasn’t very friendly with them either. We might have to look into a different place to stay next year.

It was a good familynplace but the pool was closed

We were awakened at 1 am by a party across from our room. We left within and hour with 2 toddlers because no attendant was available

My family and I will never be staying here again. First off, they wanted to charge me a $250 deposit because I was using a debit card. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never had a deposit over $100. Then our rooms bathroom door would not close, it was swollen and really hard to push closed. An outlet in the room stopped working, The tub/shower is tiny. The hot tub and pool smelled of dirty wet laundry and the water for the hot tub did not look clean at all. Paid $135 a night for this place and it was horrible. I should have paid $20 more and stayed at the Marriot,

Good for a family overnight trip. Breakfast was a nice addition and the front desk allowed us to store our cases of wine a few hours while we were out and about after checkout so it didn’t get too hot in the car.
