La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Walla Walla

Our family enjoyed our stay at Laquinta @ Walla Walla. The hotel is close to WWU and so convenient since the purpose of our trip is to drop off my daughter at WWU. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The Staff is awesome. Extremely friendly and caring. Absolutely wonderful. Location is easy to find and navigate. Very clean and up to date. Very family friendly and still perfect for traveling business professionals. The area feels safe. Very easy to navigate to any locations in town. If I have to nit pick... I'd say the lack of services information in the room and possibly the TV channels glitching. Parking spots are a bit narrow for larger pickups (read dually or oversized tires may extend over the line).

The staff were all very nice! My kids loved that the pool was indoors. The breakfast in the morning had many options to choose from that everyone in my family was happy with.

My family stayed here for a weekend and when we checked in, the evening counter person, Roco or Rocko, gave us the worst check-in experience ever. We needed to adjust how our rooms were booked and he didn't try to accommodate our request in any way, was defensive when we asked a question or even when we explained we had called ahead of time to get things sorted out. Then he topped it off with a very tasteless comment regarding the definition of incidentals--I know what the word means so his patronizing explanation of it being a way to charge my credit card if a lamp shade goes missing was insulting. He should not be hospitality if he finds it acceptable to regard people with such condescension. We wanted to leave, but the next morning we went back to the front desk and spoke with Ondrea who turned our whole experience around. She listened to us, and quickly rectified the situation with our bookings. Ondrea was professional, warm and exactly what you'd expect from a hospitality professional--and more! Had she checked us in, my service review would be glowing all around. She's EXCEPTIONAL! Not only because she could help our situation, she bothered to try. Roco didn't do ANYTHING--he made it our problem then sprinkled a tasteless "joke" on the top. He's appalling and unfortunately because of him, we won't ever return to this hotel. But the hotel is VERY fortunate to have Ondrea who we hope is recognized for her outstanding service.

It is a nice hotel and great for the family. It was a little out of the way from everything in town.

We had a great time with our kids here! The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast had many options way better than a different hotel we stayed at. The pool area was fun and easy. One of the best stays we have had.

The hotel we stayed at had lots of little kids staying there. We did not know that. We checked in and got into our room. We had to calm the front desk and ask them to go room above us and please ask them to stop banging and dropping things on the floor. We thought they were bowling up there. The front desk clerk told us about all the little kids that were staying there and said they couldn’t do anything about it. My point is if your going to have that many kids staying out then on the first floor and rest of guests on floors above. When we checked out we spoke to Beth at the front and let her know about all the noise. She was nice and helpful.

Passing through town meeting up with old friends visiting their family we needed a place to stay for the night. Nothing fancy, but a great value- clean, comfortable beds, nice pool / hot tub and fitness center, a modern, open and airy lounge with comfortable furniture, a nice wine bar, friendly and responsive employees.

Our room would have been good except a light bulb was missing in the light by the bed, a light bulb was out in the bathroom, the toilet seat was SUPER loose, and the sink didn't drain. Oh, and when we checked-in there were crumbs all over the sofa. We did enjoy the happy hour at the bar with $2.50 drinks. Pool was closed due to heater problems so that was disappointing to our kids.

The location was excellent, the service professional, and the amenities perfect for our family.
