Holiday Inn Express Walla Walla, an IHG Hotel

Nice hotel. There's really nothing right next to the hotel except a family diner, so if you just want to walk somewhere to get a bite to eat, your options are limited. But it's very close in a car to get to most things. I don't consider this to be a downside, truly... kept things quiet! The hotel is nice inside. Breakfast is the standard Holiday Inn Express. The one thing I thought was nice is that they give a piece of paper on check-in that said if there was ANYTHING that made the stay less than PERFECT, they want to know about it. Well, most of the time, when they offer you the chance to tell them stuff, you don't really want to because the stay was good. But here, they BOLDED and all-capsed the word PERFECT, meaning I didn't have to feel ridiculous if I told them that I loved the hotel and offered up ideas to make it PERFECT. For me, my only downside was that they absolutely block anything that is deemed "file sharing." Well, that's stupid. File sharing isn't in and of itself illegal. It all depends on the types of files, etc. I've never had this blocked in any other hotel. That's my only issue outstanding. The other small thing that made it less than perfect is something I already told the hotel and I believe it was merely a training issue that they'll take care of. If I stay in Walla Walla again, I'll be back.

My husband, three kids and I had a great stay at the Hilton Express in Walla Walla. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. They had a nice, well stocked breakfast bar in the morning and cookies (good cookies!) and milk in the evenings, which, if you are traveling with kids, is a nice perk. We have family in Walla Walla so have stayed in various hotels there but from now on we will stay only at the Hilton Express. It may not be located right in the heart of downtown but it was quieter because of that and it was only a few minutes drive to Main St.
