Best Western Plus Dayton Hotel & Suites

Dayton is a great little town. Our family went to the fair it is small but good for little ones 1 year old and 3 year old. The overall staff was good, The desk staff was a little strange I wanted to pay for my son's room and check his family in before they arrived. Even though everything was in my name with credit card, address, etc. I asked for a room key, to set up toys for the grand kids, to make it special. The desk staff had a hard time doing that. I think he could not think outside the box, rules are rules and you don't defer from them. Like everything is black or white no gray. A few other incidents with the same staff member. All in all it is one of the nicest motels we have ever stayed in with its set up. All the rooms are large and well kept, very clean. The breakfast was good. They have a nice coffee machine, with plenty to eat. The pool, hot tub and shower are exceptionally clean. It has a great large patio to lay in the sun, We prefer to stay in this small town instead of Walla Walla, Washington. Dayton it is just so much nicer and less hassle. with Walla Walla being only 25 miles west. There is a small town 8 miles west of Dayton, Called Waitsburg, They have 2 new great places to eat right down town. And a nursery on the next street is 1 block north, it has plants,flowers,fresh vegetables And the special Walla Walla sweet onions. I would encourage everyone to check these small quaint towns out. It is worth your wild, and so much summertime fun.

My kids enjoyed the pool. The room was clean and the breakfast options were great.

We stayed here to be a bit closer to WSU for our youngest son’s graduation. Easy jaunt to Pullman from here and interesting fact: this particular BW was the brain child of a surgeon who wanted a place to stay while heading out to hunt in the area.

I really liked the breakfast options. It was nice having warm breakfast items to choose from, rather than just waffles. We were greatly disappointed that the pool was broken. Pools are a big factor in deciding which hotel to stay at because it keeps our kids entertained for hours. Needless to say, our kids were pretty bored during our time in the hotel.

The hotel really nice, staff nice. One issue. We were given second floor room. There were kids right above is in the room above in 3rd floor. They are running around the room we could here uni 11 pm. I hope that we get a room on the 3rd floor.
