Great place to stay. Very safe and close to the main hospitals in Spokane. My child and I had no issues. Will stay again.

Room was right off the lobby and there were kids screaming in the lobby until after 11pm. Transient traffic present all around the property so did not feel secure.

If you are travelling with a family or are concerned with safety go to another hotel, any hotel but this location. Although the hotel was newer the area was absolutely scary and full of homeless people everywhere and I mean everywhere layin all over on drugs. I felt sick stayin there with my family. Also the front desk guy didn’t say one word when I came to the desk not even a hello. Just an awkward rude start. If that’s the face of your hotel I think you better find a better fit seeing how I was in the hotel industry myself and that’s embarrassing to the La Quinta chain. Paid a lot of money to stay there (summer rates) and have had kinder hospitality service at any other hotel chain. I will not be returning and would advise most to go anywhere but this area of town

Hotel is good but neighborhood area is terrible. Homeless people are around the property. There’s some random homeless people trying to get into the hotel to grab water or food several times. My young kids are scared.

The hotel itself is fine. It gets the job done. But the neighborhood around the hotel is not safe at all. I would never bring my family to this hotel. If you’re going to something downtown or at the convention center, just get a hotel there. The staff was nice, but the location of the hotel is in the worst part of the city. Everyone who asked where I was staying - including the local Uber drivers - all said it’s the worst part of town.

I reserved an accessible room on the first floor for an elderly parent. Room 106. The toilet was plugged and required multiple flushes to minimally clear toilet paper. The water pressure in the sink and shower were so minimal as to be almost useless. The next morning we were assured it would be fixed by 9 am when more staff were available. We waited another 90 minutes or more, and then the improvement was moderate. That evening the same issues arose. When checking out the next morning I informed the desk staff of the continued issues. He apologized. As I was loading the car, Brandon, the desk staff who had been on the previous morning and who assured us that the problem would be fixed when day staff arrived, walked by and commented over his shoulder that water pressure is a problem when everyone if showering in the morning, and that the issues had been fixed. I was also on the first floor, in room 120, and did not have issues with the water pressure. He then, again over his shoulder, across the lobby as he continued to walk toward the breakfast area, told me that I had been informed of the water issues when I checked in. I had not been informed. He was rude and dismissive. I did not appreciate being spoken to across the lobby. I will not stay in La Quinta downtown again, and I will avoid LaQuinta is at all possible. My parent had been looking forward to the trip to visit family in Spokane, and was unable to shower or comfortably use the other facilities.
