Can't complain close to our event and family home

Always nice when we visit family. Mattresses could be better.

It was close to our family.

We were on the 2nd floor directly facing the pool room area. from 9 pm till 2am people were coming and going, making LOTS OF NOISE adults, teens and screaming children. we were exhausted at check in and the noise was unbearable. We used to think this was a good place to stay, now. . . not so sure.

This has been my 3rd time staying at the Hampton as it is close to family i'm visiting. The free breakfast is convenient especially with my growing nephew. Location is convenient to hop onto freeway.

Location, great for families

Our stay was great! There were just a few things that could have been better. No sink plug (we have an infant and needed to bathe him), coffee maker wasn’t clean, and shower doors kept sliding open during usage. Staff was amazing and very accommodating.

When we checked in we were given a room that was already occupied. I am glad that I didn’t walk in on anyone changing with my kids there. The staff at the front were very apologetic and and gave us a new room immediately. I overheard them checking with the booked guest and he had checked in with their new keyless system late without the front desk knowing. Seems like they have some kinks to work out with that. Pool was nice. Hot tub had particles floating around in it which we let hotel know about. Rooms, washrooms and gym very clean. Breakfast area well stocked and had variety. Hotel is located on a busy street. Lots of fire trucks going by. Difficult to turn into parking lot because of a meridian just outside of the entrance on main Street . If you plan on returning later at night you might have a harder time find a parking spot as we did throughout our stay. Overall I would rate the hotel as very good as staff were accommodating, kind and hotel clean.

Came to Puyallup area for a video shoot with a client that required me to stay for the weekend, and picked this hotel for my wife and I to turn a business trip into a quick weekend getaway without the kids. ;) We were super impressed with the room! It had high ceilings, a funky and modern design aesthetic, plenty of room, and lots of amenities (fridge, microwave, tables, a large TV with lots of options, etc.) — basically, what you wish every hotel room had! The beds were slightly firm (which I like - my wife not so much), so beware there. Also, the pillows were nothing to write home about, but they were serviceable. (I'll bring my own from home next time.) The breakfast was WONDERFUL! Between both days of our stay (they change it up), we enjoyed omelettes, breakfast potatoes, sausage, 3 kinds of waffles, juices, baked goods, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. It was great. The staff at the hotel are super helpful and friendly, as well. Every interaction with them was warm and positive. The only real downside here is the parking situation. Most of the spots in front of the hotel are meant for compact vehicles, so even our Ford Escape was a little tight to get in and out. It appears there is a parking garage under the hotel, but I wasn't given any indication that this was an option, or info on how to access it. Would have been helpful to use, if it's possible. Overall, can't complain much! This was a great option, and I'm sure we'll be back. :D

We always stay here when in town to visit family. Great location. Close to mall and fairgrounds. Friendly staff.
