Home2 Suites by Hilton Seattle Airport

Stayed here in one of the king suites for my birthday weekend with my two kids and cat. We all had a wonderful time and are already planning a return stay. The hotel was a 30 min drive from Seattle proper. It was easy to find and located near shopping, restaurants and what looked like a transit center. Parking was ample but did cost $10 a night. Front desk staff were polite and attentive. All parts of hotel were clean, modern and well maintained. The beds (even the sofa bed!) were surprisingly comfortable. Pillows were a little too soft though. The kitchenette had an almost-full size fridge, freezer, microwave, sink w/ disposal and dishwasher. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. There was a shower but no tub. There was also a cool floor-to-ceiling curtain between the king bed and sofa bed that served to delineate the two areas and that made the space feel cozy. The only negative was that the indoor pool had no hot tub and was closed on our last day. However, it was immediately up and running the next day but sadly that was the day we were checking out. The hotel was also very quiet. Very little neighbor or road noise.

Our room was on the first floor directly off the lobby, there was a party or something in the lobby that got very loud. It calmed down after about 30 minutes. The room had a slight smell. I honestly thought it was my family until it was still there after we all showered! We only stayed for one night or I would’ve said something. The room was super clean and we had plenty of room for our family of 5. The mattresses were TERRIBLE. You could feel the springs. The fold out couch mattress was even worse, my daughter chose to sleep on the couch cushions instead of using the fold out. Breakfast was great and the airport shuttle was efficient. If they replaced the mattresses we would definitely stay here again.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Free laundry. Pool was nice for kids.

Everything you need to accommodate a family-well designed kitchen and storage, complimentary breakfast, a pool, family room for 5-6 people, free airport shuttle and friendly staff.

Our family loves staying at Home2 Suites. The rooms are so spacious and have a small kitchen. The service was amazing too. We realized the night before we were planning on staying that we had actually booked it for the same night. We called and they actually had room for us the next night and made the change. So easy! Easy location close to shopping too.

Pros: The staff was friendly and cleanliness was good. Comfortable and accessible with grab bars in bathroom as requested was good. Decor was bright and modern, with full hot breakfast. Pool clean, good temperature and accessible. Cons: the van picking us up was an unmarked rental van, with limited and awkward seating, delays locating passengers, and driver not very friendly. Check in took a long time when it was late at night and we were tired. Refrigerator noisy and poor insulation between rooms. Adults and children in neighboring rooms very noisy. Furniture in dining room was tattered and worn. In pool room chairs were rusty, several plants were dead or dying, and a dirty article of clothing left on a chair. Most concerning was the area of the hotel was in an industrial district not that close to the airport, and another guest complained his car window had been broken into and items stolen from his car in hotel parking lot. No surveillance cameras. So property area not secure. Don’t think I will stay here again.

I WISH MORE HOTELS WERE LIKE THIS ONE. This was the hotel I selected for my family to stay in the area for one week and I couldn't have picked better. The Continental breakfast provided a nice spectrum of options every morning, the hotel was convenient walking distance to a small shopping center with multiple food options, and amenities in general were great. We even found ourselves needing to do laundry at one point and I was surprised to see there was no cost to use the machines, plus there was detergent already in the room. We have stayed at multiple hotels that have not had enough towels or various other basic things you come to expect at a hotel so this place has as many stars as I can give them for everything being not only what I would expect, but so much more.

We stayed here with a large family group the night before leaving for a cruise. The free shuttle to the airport was great and we scheduled a pick up to the port from a shuttle company. The hotel was up to date and had a great breakfast.
