Holiday Inn Express & Suites Seattle South - Tukwila, an IHG Hotel

Overall stay was great! Only bad part was the breakfast. Every day we got there between 9 and 10(kids wanted to sleep in) and there was not much left. And the staff said they weren't making/putting out more and were semi rude about it. Other than that our stay was great!

Had some family come in and chose to host them here. GLAD I did

What did i like? Front desk staff at evening was great..what ibdidnt like... The bed was hard as hell and two queen bed somehow were only full beds. The ac didnt work...and u need a key to activate power?no onentold us so where inblack rolm hitting or feet on stuff. Breakfast was supposed to go10 . Went diwn 845 no food. We asked and was told when it gets there..exstremely rude kitchen staff.a family of 6 came down and they asked and were blown off. Fifteen minutes later enough for maybe 6 people got put out..at a little after 9 no food for breakfast and rude comments another cuatimer got into argument that went pretty loud with staff. He wasnt wrong. They were. They were rude flippant and didnt care. Theh said people were lying that food was out there and they are being nice... Place turned into nightmare my back still hurts and now i wont come back.

This Holiday Inn was extremely clean, from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. The rooms were spacious for the price and comfortable. The kids were very happy with the internet and the breakfast had lots of healthy and tasty options. Al salaam alaikam!

When we checked in was told no more rooms like we had reserved and I paid an extra $25 for a double queen, fine ok the person was polite and these things happen right? The first night our kid was sick and vomited on the carpet while trying to run to bathroom at 2:30 am. I called down and was brought up some rags and a spray cleaner which is fine. Next morning I call down again as carpet needed a better cleaning. Was told it was put on list for “deep clean” that day. That night when we returned the bath towels that I put down over my attempts to clean were still there?!? No attempt to clean carpet was made, small “chunks” were ground into carpet. Beds made and fresh towels in bathroom but still reeked of vomit. Not sure if communication error or what?!? We finally moved the towels and tried to clean it again ourselves, still smelled so we kept window open for last day and night. The entire 3 days we were there they ran out of food for breakfast and pancake machine was broke.

Very nice hotel, great staff, good breakfast. But our “suite” was just a normal room with an extra pull-out couch. I expected a little more space for a “suite.” Still, overall it’s a good hotel and a good location and a solid choice for a family trip.
