Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle South/Renton

This hotel should highlight the fact that you can walk to the lake and walk around the pier. We didn’t know until the last day and towards the end of the day!! I wish the hotel will highlight when people check in especially for people outside Washington state. The lake is very beautiful and there are actually restaurants there. The hotel is very nice…..kinda new still but when we were there one of the elevators is not working so the wait for the elevators is very long. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel and it’s very close to the Landing for shopping and dining. My family enjoyed our stay here.

Continuous 12 hour earthquakes overhead!!! I was in room 335, room 445 was occupied by inconsiderate, rude, loud, jerks!!! Crying baby and kids running for HOURS!!! Three calls (two @ night, one in morning) to front desk did NOTHING! SOLUTION: bang on door and threaten to throw them out. I paid $400 a night, ridiculous! Quiet pilots and individuals should be on upper floors!!! Overall great location and property.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is located near lots of shopping and dining options and the rooms were clean and updated. The staff are absolutely amazing. The only name I can remember is Kate from the front desk, but I wish I could have remembered more. She always answers every silly question I have and makes sure to go above and beyond even when I know she is busy. Parking was worth the $9 charge. There was a draining rain issue that left super big puddles in the parking garage, but I’m sure they will fix it fast. Breakfast was delicious and included. We were there on Christmas and I saw a family making use of the grill on the patio to cook up some steaks. Not a bad setup if you have to be in a hotel for the holidays! I honestly don’t think we will stay at any other hotel when we visit family now.

Really friendly and courteous staff. We stayed with little kids and made use of the reasonably well stocked kitchen pots/utensils on a few occasions. Only issue was that the floors seem a little thin. Location across from Coulon Park is great.
