Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle/Renton

Check-in was smooth and our room was clean. We were informed at checkin that the hotel had experienced a 4-hour power outage earlier in the day. I gave it a few hours and attempted to run the shower and was unsuccessful in getting hot water. I called the front desk and they instructed me to let it run for 5-10 minutes. We recieved a letter in the morning informing us that hot water will not be available. I called the front desk to see if any accomodations were available given the circumstance, such as a small amount of hot water from the kitchen so that our family could take a sponge bath. The staff ingormed me that this was not possible. Clearly, this was beyond the control of the staff. However, their lack of any attempt to make it right left me with some bitterness.

The pool and patio areas were very nice. The breakfast was yummy. I wish the towels in the rooms were bigger. The parking garage was clean and safe, but the parking spaces were very small. Bigger vehicles had to take up two spaces just to fit and so passengers could get in and out of vehicle with out damaging our vehicle or the one next to us. All around great place to stay. We had family in this hotel and the one next door. Our family were said that next doors breakfast was awful, they didnt have a pool and paid double.

We stayed here for a couple nights with our 2 kids and the rooms were really clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was yummy.

I like the place. Pool is not in service which my major concern for my kids to enjoy. Disappointing.
