Comfort Inn & Suites South Hill I-85

I reserved this hotel for an annual family reunion. I chose this hotel due to it being more economical than the surrounding hotels and having more availability. The check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly and professional. However, the mattress in my room was very firm (hard) and the bed was squeaky. I tossed and turned most of the night trying to get comfortable. The closet door handle came off when I tried to open the door and the room smelled a bit stale (probably because it hadn't been used in a while). I'll have to remember how uncomfortable the bed was next time and will more than likely reserve another hotel.

Absolutely great experience! The room was clean, breakfast was great, and the staff was so accommodating! The breakfast selection was amazing, tons of choices which is great with kids. Rooms were clean and the pillows were to die for! Will be booking here again soon!

It was wonderful. Everyone was nice and friendly. We had our four babies with us and they were fantastic with them. Evidently there must have been a fishing tournament at the lake and it was cool to see a lot of different boats. There were plenty of places nearby to eat. Will definitely be staying again.

The lady that worked overnight was awesome but my key kept not working but she offered to get me another room but decline but she was super helpful and my kids slept on a dirty bed didn’t know til the next morning drove over 2 hours to see family won’t be staying again unless I change out everything myself
