Such a wonderful place to stay when going to the American girl doll store. And my kids loved the gummy bears at check in.

Beautiful hotel and property. Nintendo switch and multiple Xbox systems not working in game room. Could only get 2 or 3 stations to work. Great idea for the space and kids loved it though but area needs some IT support.

My son and I decided to have a mommy and son day, before I have my 2nd child. My 8 year old son wanted to stay at the Ritz. He wanted to enjoy the indoor heated pool and order room service. He loved the pool and the food ordered through room service was on point my son is very picky regarding hotels and food. He has been traveling since he was 6 weeks old and has always had a high standard for hotels and food.

Our family loved our stay at this property! It is a close drive to DC and other attractions in the area. The hotel is attached to the mall which has good dining options for families traveling with kids and is convenient to access. The indoor pool was a great way to finish the day after a day of sightseeing!

My husband and I chose this hotel for the first night of our honeymoon. What better place to spend your wedding night than the Ritz? A lot of places, as it turns out. I usually stay in nice hotels, occasionally very nice ones, but the most important thing is that they're clean. I was shocked to discover a visibly dirty towel in the bathroom upon our arrival -- like, large black smudges, which were also on the container of shower gel. I have not seen anything like that since a stay 20 years ago at a seedy hotel off Hollywood Boulevard. I emailed them and sent photos, and they gave me a $60 food credit (the room was $400), which, this being the Ritz, covered one person's breakfast. Then -- despite telling them in my email that we were going to bed at 11 -- sent up housekeeping at 11:50 to knock multiple times and wake us up to deliver towels. I don't have to complain at hotels very often, but when it occasionally happens, management is usually quick to do everything they can to make it right. In this case, it was such laughably terrible customer service that I realized that "the Ritz" was just an ordinary three-star hotel with a fancy reputation that I remembered from childhood. My brand-new husband is a very positive person, and he said, "I bet they'll do something nice tomorrow to make it up. Have faith. You'll see." They didn't. Fortunately, we spent the next night at an excellent property about an hour away. There are far better hotels in this area -- skip this one.

This was my first time to stay at a Ritz, OMG what a fantastic place. Thanks Hotel.com for finding this hotel at that price. The rooms were excellent and the staff were top notch from Reuben who met us at the drive up to Al as our waiter in the restaurant. But the best was Drew at the front desk. He went way past providing excellent service. He made us feel right at home. We will certainly stay there again when we go back to see family in Springfield, VA
