Quality Inn Harrisonburg I-81

Good one day stay with my brother so that we could attend a family birthday celebration nearby. Room was quiet, clean, person who checked us in (Darnell) was efficient and personable.

The Quality Inn was as advertised. Clean room, friendly staff and convenient location. I would like to give special recognition to the maintenance guy (I think his name was Randy) who was exceptionally nice and helpful to our family.

For breakfast I had to wait 15 minutes for eggs, ran out of hard boiled eggs, ran out of oatmeal, 2 out of the 4 juices were out and not replaced, no bagels ran out of, I went to go eat at 0845 hours breakfast was over at 10, my room was not cleaned, had to go get towels myself this was at 1530 hours, the supervisor offered but my family and myself were tired so, that’s why I only got towels

It is very well maintained. This is our 5th stay at this property, we drive from SC to visit family in NJ at least a couple times a year. This hotel is a very convenient place to stop overnight. We get good value for our money.

I had a great stay! The room was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. I thought we were booking queen size beds as that is always what I book, but the beds were just doubles. My daughter and family were in the room next door. She said she did not have enough hot water when she and her kids showered.

The front desk staff was excellent. My key card did not work on my room, and he made sure that my key worked by going to the door to try himself. When the new card failed to work, he immediately gave me a new room. He was swift and courteous. Unfortunately the housekeeping was lacking. Dried blue toothpaste left in the sink and quite a bit of gunky debris on the floor at the base of the toilet. Not appealing and was very easy to spot. The poor housekeeping will likely cause me to choose a different hotel. as we come to Harrisonburg frequently to visit our child at JMU.

Location and family oriented

My 7yo son and I stayed 2 nights and had a great time. Room had everything we needed. There was not any disruptive noise in our room even though we were right by the pool, the sound insulation was good. The Staff at the desk were all very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and coffee in the lobby was basic fare and as advertised. We did have a poor experience with other guests in the pool that I don’t think was the hotels fault. One family taking up all 5 lounge chairs and the table and behaving like it was their own private pool. We couldn’t stay - too loud and the kids playing too rough made it impossible. I am actually not positive they were guests - the mom said something that made me think maybe they were locals? Anyway, The pool was the reason we booked here - to have an afternoon activity. I only share this to say you take a chance with a small shared pool so have a back up plan just in case. It’s a great hotel in a beautiful location and we would go back.

We stayed just for one day with family and everything was good. Room looks little tight and bed was little small for two person. Overall it was nice stay. Kids enjoyed the Breakfast. Breakfast is as usual stuff cereal, fruit, waffle, omelette, biscuits, bread, bagel and juice. Hotel is few mins away from Walmart and kroger if you have to run to those store. And many other major chain restaurants Are nearby.
