We have young kids that wanted to swim and wasn't able to do that because it was too cloudy. We had to go to another hotel that had an available pool for my children to enjoy!

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The room was perfect. The gal working the breakfast was great. She hustled and was patient when someone’s child spilled. She cleaned it right up. The desk person was friendly and engaging. Would definitely stay there again.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and I had a fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home. The hotel's location was also perfect, with easy access to many attractions and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was good and offering a variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed at this property twice in 10 days (on our way down south and our way back home). We chose it because it's right off of Rt 81 (easy on and off). We travelled with our goldendoodle. The hotel itself was a great value. The cleaning product they use on the shower had a pungent smell to it..which bothered me but not my husband. I didn't notice it as much in the 2nd room we had, though. The bed was super comfortable and the fridge/microwave was a nice bonus. TV was easy to use. The shower pressure was great and they supply large bottles of shampoo/conditioner, plus soap and a small bottle of lotion. The breakfast was great too- scrambled eggs, sausage, 2 waffle stations, biscuits, fruit, cereal, etc. plus a coffee station. If you're travelling with a dog- this place is PERFECT. There is a huge grassy area with benches and a poop bag station set up. Also we chose the town of Harrisonburg because they have a dog friendly brewery (dogs can be outside OR inside) and they serve food. It was called Pale Fire Brewery. It was only a couple miles away. We loved that place. Our only complaints about the hotel: that strange smell associated with the cleaning products (smelled like vomited baby formula) and the poop bag station was never emptied and thus almost overflowing by the time we returned 10 days later. Also if your room is right near the hallway entrance, you'll hear the door slam shut often. It was clean and comfy- we'll return

The rooms are clean and breakfast is included. Short drive to city center. However, there’s no elevator to the second floor and hotel does not take that into consideration for families with small children.

The staff was nice, but the pool it turns out has been closed or "being worked on" for at least month and did not open while we were there. We travelled from 6 hours away and booked this hotel especially for the pool for my kids to get some swim time in for the couple days we'd be there, only to find out it had been closed but this was not listed online in the description at all. The staff were friendly and nice about it and I know it wasn't their fault, but it's super frustrating in terms of the misleading description that indicated a functional and open pool and I would have stayed elsewhere. I would not stay there again and am quite disappointed.
