Staff was great. Trouble with keys. After we checked in the keys worked, but we left for a family event and when we returned, the keys didn’t work. We had to go down from the fourth floor two times until we finally got one that let us get back into our room. Another lodger told me he had to the same problem and it took him two trips down too to get keys that worked. May have been a glitch in their system.

I always book hotels with a pool or hot tub because well I have a child who loves to swim. Got checked in went to dinner came back got dressed to go to the pool. It was not in operation. I paid $25 over the price I was promised to stay somewhere my child could get a little swim time after traveling all day, for it not to be available and no notice it was unavailable.

Stopped here for the night with the kiddies on the way back from the grandparents. Location was easy to find and is near multiple types of dining options, so it was nice to be able to grab something other than fast food. The facilities were very clean but you could tell some parts of the building you could tell were aging and could use an update such as the bathroom/tub in our room, however, as mentioned, all very clean. The kids enjoyed using the indoor pool, I didn’t use, but there is a small gym by the lobby. Breakfast is included in the stay and included all the typical breakfast affair. Beds and linens were comfortable and if it wasn’t for my kids (1 and 2 yr old), I would’ve had a great sleep.

The A/C did not work and the staff was not helpful. I asked to get the A/C fixed, didn’t happen and was denied a refund because I purchased the stay through Expedia. My two children and me had to sleep in a non air conditioned room for two nights was stuck without a refund because we used Expedia a third party website.

The location was great because of all the shops and restaurants that were within walking distance. I found a fantastic Cajun bistro for dinner one night, and I ordered take-out from the Chinese restaurant twice. The only thing I didn't like was the McDonald's right next door, but I imagine that probably appeals to parents with small children.

Spacious room and nice bathroom. Even though we had notified the hotel before hand we would be arriving past midnight, there were no linens provided for the pullout sofa which we intended to use as we had reserved a king bed room with pullout for the kids. We were able to check in late, but had to wait for staff to bring up linen in order to get kids to bed. Location was close to shopping, many food choices and easy access to I-95 as we had only a stopover from a long road trip.

We pulled into the parking lot to see 4 teens wrestling under the front door awning. (I should have known then what the stay would be like…)They scattered and I went to check in. A guy with a solo cup was chatting with both desk managers about where they lived. They finally noticed me and I checked in. On the plus side, the halls smelled of disinfectant. The rest of the evening was kids running up and down the halls, screaming and laughing. I know kids will be kids but after 3 hours of it, it was time to get some help. I called the desk twice and they never picked up. I went downstairs to talk to the desk folks. The lobby was packed with groups of adults and kids. I asked the desk clerk if she could do anything about the kids constantly running up and down the hall-it was 9:45pm by then. She shrugged, rolled her eyes and said they had a 10pm curfew. So finally around 11 the last lap through the hallways was completed. I wonder who won… Look, I have kids, I know they want to have a good time but management should have done a little something to at least make everyone’s stay a little better. If you choose to stay here that’s up to you. Just expect no help from leadership if something isn’t right.
