Fairfield Inn By Marriott Fredericksburg

Three of us (myself, daughter, and girlfriend) are traveling from North Carolina to Pennsylvania and planned to stay here as a midpoint. We had a good experience at another Fairfield back over the summer which lead to us choosing this hotel. Overall, the experience was average. Beds were comfortable, shower was good, breakfast had variety. However, we booked a room with two queen beds and the beds were full sized. I am over 6'2 so thats the only reason that mattered. But I still managed to sleep okay. The heater was also very noisy. We take this path a lot since my girlfriend's family is lives in Pennsylvania, so I wouldn't rule it out as an option, but if there was a similar hotel in the same price range, with actual queen beds, I would consider that option first.

Front desk could have been a bit friendlier, but she was fine. I like the compactness of the hotel room, but the walls are very thin. We were awakened in the morning by the sounds of the child next door who was doing nothing out of the ordinary for a person of his age.

Perfect for a small family

Convient of and on highway, convenient to nearby restaurants and gas stations. We only stayed overnight on our way to Wilmington, NC to be with a family member who's death was immenint. The room was clean in good repair and comfortable. Even though the hotel is close to the highway it was quiet and we had a restful sleep on a very comfortable bed.
