This was my first little vacation in years and it was so calm there and the staff were so kind and helpful. My kids loved it there also and enjoyed that no one seems to mind their silly self’s. Overall it was great!

While the staff was super friendly, we asked for the top floor/5th floor (twice)-when we checked in, they said it was close but they took care of us and made sure we wouldn’t have the noise from kids running above us or outside traffic; they placed us on the second floor closest to the street. Our shower had mold/discoloration in it, the AC didn’t work, there was stuff on the floor from the previous occupants, the TP holder was all rusty and the sink was clogged. We have stayed in SpringHill Suites before and always had a wonderful experience-not sure what happened to this property.

I was staying at the hotel for a weekend of relaxation, but unfortunately there were children running up and down the stairways all day and night. The elevator was broken so had to take the stairs to my room on the 3rd floor, and the bed was so uncomfortable. So I cut my stay short

We checked into our room at 5pm and informed them immediately the ac wasnt working. They assured us that it would be fixed while we went to dinner. When we returned the ac was still broken. She sent maintence to the wrong room and again told me the issue would be resolved. An hour later no one had assisted, so again i went to the front desk because our phone in our room was broken as well. At this point we had sleeping children in our room and she offered us to move to another room or give us fans. Because our children were already sleeping i choose fans. I had to go to the front desk 3 more times over the course of the next hour in order to finally get one fan sent to our room. It was 10 oclock before we received the fan and the ac was never resolved.

Our room had a smell that we assumed was the previous tenants and hoped would dissipate while we were out getting dinner. The temp in room was warm so we adjusted the thermostat and left for dinner. When we returned, the smell persisted and room temp did not change, we turned in for the night and planned to notify in the am. In the morning, we reported the issues around 9am. The HVAC did not work at all and temp got up to about 80 degrees in the room. The smell of cigarettes and marijuana and was so strong you could smell throughout the room and even in the hallway. It seemed to source from the bathroom vent. This was nauseating to our entire family and made my wife sick. We figured we could avoid with some pool time while getting a new room, however the indoor pool was murky and had something floating in it so kids refused to use. The manager contacted us and said he needed an hour to prepare another room. About 2.5 hours later, no notice so we went to front desk. The attendant advised the new room was not yet released but also that it was a downgraded room with smaller beds. We explained this was unacceptable so she called the manager and, they located another room, but stated they needed more time to clean it. About another 1.5 hours later, we were notified we could move. When I ran into another employee in the elevator I asked if they were swamped due to holiday and they said not at all, so why /how this went so wrong and took so long to resolve.

Overall an average hotel, but DEFINITELY not worth the holiday weekend price we had no choice but to pay for it. Check in was easy, staff at front desk was friendly. The lobby had a very overwhelming air freshener smell- I start headache- which I was very glad was not also in our room. Room was smaller than pictures made it seem. Later that night when we pulled out the couch to put our kids to bed, we had to call to request pillows and an extra set of sheets and blankets (the couch and trundle needed two separate sets) and nobody came for a half hour so my husband had to go down to get them himself. The front desk said their housekeeping manager had been MIA for quite a while. We also had to request more towels and washcloths the first night as only two of each were provided - for a room that supposedly sleeps 4 people, for a two night stay. The room was clean, though water pressure was poor (sink sometimes wouldn’t stay on) and there was a massive crack in the shower wall. Air flow was okay, not horrible but not comfortable either. The bed was VERY soft - almost uncomfortably so. There was a small amount of noise from the highway, but it didn’t keep us awake. Breakfast was edible but mediocre at best. Lots of very cold or prepackaged pastries, dry cereal, oatmeal, eggs and sausage. Summary: It was a place to stay. It was clean. But it was not worth the insane price they charged.

This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in years. The staff were unwelcoming at the front. They kept harassing us about how many quest we were having. They ran back up to the room and gave me the sheet of rules AGAIN about how many guest I could have. Check in was at 3pm and at 4pm they only had 1 room ready. They question me three times about how I got into the 2nd room. Well your cleaning service left the door unlock and the all of the drawers open as if she gave up on that room. They asked us again if the kids were planning any activities inside of the hotel. NO we’re leaving the hotel for activities. The kids asked me what was up with the front desk attitude because the demeanor was so poor. I advised them to pray for them and that some people have more problems inside that we can’t understand. This hotel needs a lot of pray. We will definitely never return
