This was a decent hotel and I would maybe stay again depending on the price. I got a studio room and put kids on the pull out couch and parents on the bed. My biggest complaint is that whatever they use to clean the floors in the bathroom has a thick film that made your feet sticky and feel weird. At first I didn't mind but after a day it got really annoying and I felt the need to wipe my feet off or wear shoes to the bathroom. The sink for the bathroom was small and outside of the actual bathroom which I always find odd but it does picture some of the the rooms like that. The bed was definitely on the pretty firm side but not the worst I have ever had. There were 2 TVs and they were absolutely massive, maybe a touch too big. Since the room is small it lights up the room like crazy at night. The breakfast was nice with a wide variety that did change a little day to day. The pool was nice and seemed in good shape and very clean. All employees were very nice and helpful.

Wonderful stay in Chesapeake Fairfield by Marriott. Will stay there every time we visit family. Fantastic, best ever, breakfast. Clean, recently renovated, so brand new. Close to shopping and quality restaurants.

I stayed here six nights while visiting family in Chesapeake. If all you care about is a good bed and shower, it's fine. The "free" breakfast is mediocre at best. The staff does NOT restock the freezer that is supposed to contain microwavable meals (e.g., Stouffers) for the convenience of guests.

CONS: Website said the pool was open, however on checking in, we were told it was closed. REAL bummer for kids. The bed was hard as concrete. REAL bummer for adults. PROS: VERY clean! Very friendly staff! AMAZING location! Great Breakfast included!

The location is good for our visits with family close by. The staff was friendly and upbeat. The breakfast buffet was excellent. However i would never stay here again. The room is the worst designed ive been in. You have to stand on your head to use the microwave and refrigerator. They should be on top of the cabinet instead of in it. The small refrigerator needs to be larger. The bathroom door opens into anyone who would be standing at the sink. The toilet paper dispenser is the worst design I've ever seen. It is easier to place the tp on the floor. The room does not have a good tv viewing area unless you sit on the bed. A small table and chairs need to be in the corner and front of the windows.

I requested a room with a bathtub at the last minute, and I wasn’t sure the hotel would be able to accommodate my request. Thankfully, Colette and her manager made sure I would have a bathtub which was very important since my toddler is afraid of the shower. Thank you so much! The room was clean and updated, the bed was very comfortable and overall a great stay.
